I am not sure if they improved during S23 preorders, but during the S22 preorder days, I remember some of the very early people who preordered haven't got their phones (this preorder include a RM600 voucher inside their box and I think there was some delay in getting and putting the vouchers inside the box) while some people who order later (without the RM600 voucher promo) got their phone much quicker.

Samsung official website will allow you to get the trade-in discount immediately, regardless of whether you really trade in the phone or not later. Of course, that is assuming they don't change their procedure.

Trade-in will take place later with a 3rd party, Comp-Asia. They will find you to inspect the phone and give you an official valuation on your phone. You can choose the accept or not. Either way, the trade-in discount for the phone you received when you place your preorder will not be affected.

As what I remember last time 23u when doing preorder, they open an option to trade in old phone with minimum value of 700 for eligible model on their official website.

That 1 is they outsource to someone that will quote additional or less depending on phone model and they will go to collect phone from you afterward and pay u the balance depending on phone model.

I think should be unlikely, with titanium and inflation as well as weaken Malaysia ringgit. Unless same price but less free gift. Last time they offered, storage upgrade plus free watch.

Ya, they never called me until now. So just find any old phone and hentam (check if the IMEI works first) for the additional RM600 rebate for trade-in devices.

Assuming selling price is same RM5699 for 512gb.

RM5699 - RM400 (ROI) - RM600 (Trade in bonus) + Phone value. (S23U 512GB is RM2500 in CompAsia)

Fork out additional RM2200 for new S24U.
