QUOTE(ckl1998 @ Jan 17 2024, 09:07 AM) You mean the rm600 trade in discount will still apply even though at the end we did not trade in the old phone. If this is the case, it is no brainer, one should select trade in in the first place, and later quit the trade in Correct. Last time the value for ANY phone (even if broken or cracked), they give a RM600 trade-in discount for you. You just need the IMEI code if I am not mistaken. Later the 3rd party will contact you to ask to meet up to inspect the phone. Even if you then say you don't want to continue the trade-in, the trade-in discount is already in effect. Or if you do meet with them and then the value they gave is unacceptable to you, you can also choose not to proceed. I remembered someone mentioned they entered their old useless Redmi phone also can get the RM600 trade-in discount. Well for this year, will have to see if the process is still the same or whether the value is still RM600. |

For anyone who are interested to buy the new S24 Series, don't forget to order through ShopBack and get 1.8% cashback (for now). During S23 Series pre-order period, the cashback from ShopBack for smartphone purchase was at 5.5%, so that is a lot if you ask me.
For your purchase to be successfully registered by ShopBack, it was reported that using their mobile apps will be much easier rather than on web browser If you are new to ShopBack, you can signup with my referral code tOSViS to get RM10 signup bonus cashback after you made a qualified purchase. |

Choose any Apple iPad product and when ask for IMEI you can put in 15's Zero like this (00000 00000 00000) and get the RM600 trade in bonus applied.
When they call you up to collect your trade in product (which you don't have), you can always tell them that you change your mind or not happy with the trade in value they offer and call it off. This won't affect the bonus that already applied to your Samsung purchase. |

Unless you tell me they are going to pay me again? They will pay you again for whatever they value your gadget is worth. So basically you enjoy RM600 trade-in discount upfront + whatever trade-in value they give you. Samsung gives the trade-in discount, where as the trade-in value is given by another company, CompAsia. They have an app on Play Store, see the link provided by the forummer above my post. It will give you a rough estimate value of your phone. CompAsia business is selling 2nd phones (all brands). Quite legit, I bought a 2nd hand Samsung Galaxy A52s from them before. Also I did traded in a Samsung Galaxy S21 to them before. Maybe you can sell a bit more on Carousell or LYN but I lazy to go through all the hassle of meeting people here and there. This post has been edited by Lahaha: Jan 17 2024, 02:47 PM |

QUOTE(Milfuntastic @ Jan 13 2024, 06:26 AM) AI or no AI, I still need to manually renamed the pictures I took to be searchable easily later. Still stuck 45w like my note 10 plus,There's no way Bixby can search the photos I want simply by saying " Hi Bixby, get me the photos of some receipts I took last month" Basically AI is now a hot marketing trick to get more people to buy new Fons at 6000 & above If you notice China Fons, their AI function is still limited to gestures & photos editing only. How far better Galaxy AI can do, I'm also abit sceptical. Another thing is the lousy 45W charger, wait till neck long also cannot finish charging. Need around 70mins long. One of the reason why my S23u still 2nd device, |
