discuss with your family and relative how big you all gonna do this funeral, and then only talk to agent.

for thouse funeral service you actually no need to take full package, you can nego in brake down , since you aldy has the land, and if you plan to do the ceremony at house or hire the place..

my aunt's choose only the service from hospital untill burried , since long time she aldy had place , ceremony also do at landed house.

if there are expiriance ppl in the family and also got enough person to help running all this , he can do all by self.

my experience only choose coffin tske me half day , still need to run to Hospital and JPN to get death cert. need to go polis station, all this taken my whole day, snd the phone non stop ringging ppl ask when where how .......
the ,emotion aldy so sad no time to cry .....yet running all this choose coffin, chooe place choos ceremony, choose monk to pray .....all have to settle in 1 day ..........still you need to prepare praying things fruit, food, josesrick, candle , burning paper ............crazy if wanna run all by self , the dead body cannot wait.

unless your family or relative has experience ppl to help , else have to choose cekik darah agent

No will. Should be no more stocks under his name. Got one old Wira. I totally forget about it since he didn’t drive it for few months alr. Already tyre pamcit and here there broken. Got ppl put notice there to call if want to sell.
Plan to sell it as junk and show the guy the death certificate.
The purpose is more to dispose the car than leave there to rot.

Anyway, just to update here for knowledge sharing
Basically engaged nirvana. Really one dragon service including runner to get death cert from JPN.
No need police report since passed away at hospital.
The agent has explained everything and give options including the casket, urn and sau yi (longevity clothes). He also shared the rites which I’m not aware.
Also got traditional rite and modern rite which is simpler.

All these give comfort to my mum that everything is in good hands

My Dad just pass away 30Jan2024 at home while i was driving back to see him after getting a call.
Small town hard to get Ambulan and i have to make call to my hometown schoolmate doctor who open a clinic there.

Kudo to him for getting a "government medical officer" to come to my house to check and certified the death as natural cause aka old age.

That medical officer is from Bomba division will then use the ECG result with his Chop indicate the time of my Dad passing...and also reported to Police Station as well.

Once i reach home, i must immediately report my Dad passing to the Police Station where all necessary documention will be given out.
According to Police, if my Dad got buy insurance......Autopsy is a must at hospital.

Once get all necessary documentation, find Funeral Caretaker...
My Dad package for simplest possible 3Day 2Night also cost RM18k lo
And for food is RM1,870.

During 2019, when my Mum pass away, that Police Report can be kawtim by Funeral Caretaker but now, must be done personally by family member...

Funeral caretaker will also guide you to make a report your Dad demise at JPN and you will get Death Certificate after 30min estd.
But before doing that, do try to clear whatever bank account under your Dad name before reporting officialy at JPN.

Just done 7th Day yesterday....then 49th Day....100th Day and 1 year.
My Dad package actually including "advance praying up to 49days" which was conducted the day where urn with ashes place at Siam Wat Temple.

if ur in a small town and in govt hospital..... the undertaker will come to u ..... n give them their name card..... so u can them directly on which type of rites u wan....all can settle..... they will guide u along the way.....
