My Dad just pass away 30Jan2024 at home while i was driving back to see him after getting a call.
Small town hard to get Ambulan and i have to make call to my hometown schoolmate doctor who open a clinic there.
Kudo to him for getting a "government medical officer" to come to my house to check and certified the death as natural cause aka old age.
That medical officer is from Bomba division will then use the ECG result with his Chop indicate the time of my Dad passing...and also reported to Police Station as well.
Once i reach home, i must immediately report my Dad passing to the Police Station where all necessary documention will be given out.
According to Police, if my Dad got buy insurance......Autopsy is a must at hospital.
Once get all necessary documentation, find Funeral Caretaker...
My Dad package for simplest possible 3Day 2Night also cost RM18k lo
And for food is RM1,870.
During 2019, when my Mum pass away, that Police Report can be kawtim by Funeral Caretaker but now, must be done personally by family member...
Funeral caretaker will also guide you to make a report your Dad demise at JPN and you will get Death Certificate after 30min estd.
But before doing that, do try to clear whatever bank account under your Dad name before reporting officialy at JPN.
Just done 7th Day yesterday....then 49th Day....100th Day and 1 year.
My Dad package actually including "advance praying up to 49days" which was conducted the day where urn with ashes place at Siam Wat Temple.
