I got fed up. Just took the bike to the dealer to get it serviced. Didn't have time to send it to MForce segambut. I had a road trip the day after. If it wasn't for the service indicator what needs a OBD2 computer to reset, I would have just done the oil change myself.

On a lighter note, CFMOTO will likely open up more 3S and handle after sales themselves...and be independent of MForce. Hopefully that will come sooner than later. They just opened up a new quite impressive 3S centre in penang...and will be upgrading the existing KL dealers to handle after sales better.

Currently....if CFMOTO is done by mforce, the brand is dead in the water already.

How did the bike perform during your weekend road trip?

Good on cfmoto then. Really love the looks of their cl-x, and even papio. Would sucks if theyre killed by shitty aftersales.

Freakin Mforce. They carried quite alot of brands with interesting bikes too.
I wonder if the shitty service normal for them across all the brands theyre carrying, or just isolated to few brands or just cfmoto for whatever reason.

I almost picked up a sym vf3i but opted for a rs200 instead (initially considering ns200 but the rs200 was on an offer with a fullface and a toprack) because i remembered your ordeal with mforce tongue.gif

not exactly TO my bike... but more for my bike rides. DIY over the shoulder camera backpack mount.

headed to MHS in Q3 so i wanted to record it. but my SJ4000 AIR has no stabilization so i didnt want to mount it on the bike in case of vibrations. didnt wanna mount it on the helmet either as that will add weight and my helmet is a flipup.

been thinking of building this for years actually but now have a good reason n already had most of the parts on hand. i also carry a camelback with me on long rides so might as well use it fully.

havent tested it yet... hopefully doesnt shake much while riding.

why i dont just buy a camera with stabilization? well its too damn expensive and i dont use the action cam much and this cam also has the waterproof charging case. so i can charge even when its raining heavily (provided the other end of the cable doesnt get water in it as well)

only thing is, i cant decide which angle to put it on... left shoulder or right shoulder....

that looks pretty awkward lol, maybe just need a spray of black paint
i think people usually use selfie stick and mount it somewhere on the rear frame for this type of pov video
maybe you can do the same for shoulder with selfie stick or monopod

though I assume using pvc pipes are way cheaper

did the selfie stick thing before.. selfie sticks tend to bend when extended causing shakes on cams with no stabilization like mine.... which is why im not too keen

hoping this is better...as i also wanted something i can dismantle n pack into the boxes.

but then again, might try with the pvc pipe on the rear frame as they are thicker and less prone to bending compared to the selfie sticks...though vibrations may still be an issue...hhhmmm..... thanks for the idea though.

EDIT: no.. PVC isnt that much cheaper.. but they can be sturdier and alot more customizable.

Is a bit odd that CFMoto is distribute by MForce, but is not under MForce lineup/website. Kinda weird but in a way is good hopefully is an independent arm at least, and yea I'm surprise the Flagship shop is open at Penang rather in KL. hopefully down the road all 3S is trained well for aftersales

cfmoto flagship already got in kl

Haha that 1, I wouldn't really call it a flagship.

CFMoto MY should really prep some ready test ride unit standby (at least 800MT/NK, 450/250SR, CLX700/250, Papio) on those flagship store at least instead of relying on Test Ride tour around MY.

nice.
that's why the current big announcement on the opening of flaghip stores around malaysia.

looks like cfmoto is branching away from mforce dealer network and relegate mforce just to assemble the bike.
or they might even move away entirely and get KTM (eurotech manufacturer in jitra) for assembly.

eurotech current assemble ktm, husqvarna and zontes

looks really nice but i do have some regret... not as easy to see as original, especially the smaller texts like odo, trip a, trip b.

will just get used to it i guess... worse come to worse, just pay another RM170 to get it reversed.

ive had an issue with the z900 where when i press the front brake...the brake light wont go off....turns out the brake master cylinder isnt pushing back enough.

reason for it is the huge amount of gunk under the rubber cover.

went to 66speedbike and they took a look and immediately know what to do...says it happens alot

so they cleaned it out, regreased here n there n now its all good again.

I was dissapointed in KTM RC200 v2 headlamp.
Malaysian spec, came with halogen headlamp.
Night time was horrible for me.
Light intensity and beam wasn't great.
But I ignored it and after a while, I damaged the headlamp by accident. (Cloth over the headlamp)

So why not upgrade to LED headlamp from other market spec or RC390.
Bought it from India for a bargain through a proxy in Malaysia.

Suprisingly easy to reach the headlamp, made a PnP harness for it as there was none available.
And tadaaaa, feel safer during night commute if needed.
