If you're using WIFI 6 and need the fastest speed, device sold for China market have a handicap on the channel bandwidth. China only support up to 80 MHz while most global market device support 160 MHz

1x1 80 MHz max speed is 601 Mbps while 1x1 160 MHz max speed is 1.2 Gbps

China devices can support WiFi 6 160Mhz with limited channels not didn't support at all.

All my China phones, Vivo X100 Pro, OP12, OP13 & Ace 3V can utilize 160Mhz with no issue.

Wifi 7 6Ghz yes, not supported for China phones.

Have you tried set only use 160 MHz channel bandwidth on your router? My Lenovo Y700 2023 can't find the network if set to 160 MHz.

For me not really. Because when you sell it off next time it would be of the same value.

really? doesn't people will concern later about the version of it either china or global. I mean it still can't compete with global version price when it come to used condition right?
or do you mean either it's cover with a good case, it still the same value of the cheap case? but it does make sense because at the end of it still how we take care of the phone.

Guys, what's the difference between Global ROM & Malaysia set ROM. Is it the same thing ? Previously a user says his Global ROM realme cannot get OTA updates. Does it happens to OnePlus Fons too ?

What I meant was when it comes to being second hand, both global or china sets will be of the same price. Maybe unless the set is still under warranty then it might make a difference.

Where did you see the 3k from for 16/512? If its from taobao then not really worth it actually. You need to factor in region unlock fee, warranty claiming hassel etc.

Lazada.
16/512 for Rm3k+

24/1tb for 3.8k

But ya, the warranty claim for sure is a bigger hassle compare to fastech lim. This is a oversea seller , i assume. And not sure about the region unlock thingy whether oneplus malaysia will help if there's any issue.

Then again, you pay for what you get. Last time I also bought pixel from these sellers, so far so good, touch wood.

Not only OnePlus, even iphones prices. Not surprising at all because many dealers want to get rid of stocks.
Indeed it is.

Yea many people got IP15pm and IP16pm from lazada due to the lzd voucher.

There's quite a handful who got them with RM1212 voucher and only pay RM4700 for IP16pm 256gb.

Anything out from china = global rom , only the phone that sold in china is CN Rom

so basically there is no such "Malaysia ROM"

TBH the price for 15/512 really worth it. That price for a flagship phone with flagship specs is really a no brainer. Look at the seller reviews. If they have been there long enough and have many good reviews then usually no problem sending it back to them for warranty. One thing for sure CN sets would need to be sent back to China for RMA.

Is it true 8 Elite is hot & warm like Snapdragon 888 last time ? Some reviews sites says so. Last time my mi11 ultra with 888 is always warm even with just a app running

never heard 8 Elite behaviour like this , sometime they just get the new phone and new apps installed, have to let the phone running at the background update at least 1 week only the phone can be more stabilize.

I do see china real user review , when they compared with mediatek 9400 phone on gaming , the 9400 actually running more COLD on it than the 8 Elite.....But the 8 Elite is running more efficiency on low power such as running apps than 9400 , so i don think 8 Elite is a "fire dragon" , might be something wrong with the user phone

The 888 and 8gen1 is crazy hot biggrin.gif totally not a same level chip
