I've heard they make lives difficult for CN set users who flash global rom. Some wireless functions may not work as well as intended and the OTA might be unsuccessful, have to flash manually.
Mark my words, Samsung S24 entry level will even be cheaper than OP12. You want cheapest SD8G3 and do not care about other specs, better eye Xiaomi K70 Pro series or watch out for Poco F6 series

So it happens to CN ROM OnePlus before? This has always been the case for Xiaomi series. Also they lack B20 and B28, vowifi is a hit and miss too.

My guess is 4G B28 being the culprit. It's quite a well known 5G issue among Xiaomi CN malaysian users. Forget about DNB 5G supported device list, my oneplus open can even get 5G signal better than my wife's ip15pm... Or maybe umo 5G coverage is better than mekshit in most places

When I bought open I became a guinea pig myself so pokai ady, must pass the baton 🤣... Also if CN set, vowifi is also a concern tbh.

Vowifi is nice to have but now a days all call is by WhatsApp the mobile network now suck big time even not moving also will drop

I'd say problem on both sides, DNB and CN phone particularly Xiaomi. There have been discussions in this forum regarding the necessity of 4G B28 to access DNB's NSA 5G...Hoping our 5G will support SA in future so that we won't need B28 to use them.

I am using Oneplus 11 CN set with ColorOS 14. No problem with 5G. I am assuming Oneplus 12 CN set should be no problem too. 



Only can get VoLTE from Unifi mobile carrier.

My mistake. Only can get VoLTE out of the box, but no VoWiFi. VoLTE is works for all local carriers.
