Anyone know the best method to let them fix immediately? I tiring about this stupid Digi service.

2-Dec-2023 - Maxis submitted port out request
3-Dec-2023 - Digi rejected SMS received, called Digi hotline and agents said it was due to both mobile number was under same name but different bill, she want us to request Maxis submit for 2 port out request instead of one. We went to Maxis center and ask them submit for 2 port out requests.
4-Dec-2023 - Digi rejected SMS received, contacted Digi live chat and the agents Mika T told me there is fibre account under this mobile number, you need to go Digi Store and ask them split it out. We purposely went to Sunway Pyramid Digi Store and requested for fibre split out. At the same time, we requested the agent to check and confirmed if everything ready to port out and she answered Yes.
5-Dec-2023 - Digi rejected SMS received, we requested Maxis to give it a try again. Submit another port out request.
6-Dec-2023 - Digi rejected SMS received and we got no idea what to do.

You still need, but the number is freed from any form of attachment: different bill lah, different owner lah, got fibre account lah, got pending amt lah.. this la that la.

All you need is .. the owner of the prepaid line, line still active and (this not sure if still applies: 30 days).

I've requested Maxis to submit the request again, this is the sixth time.
I hope it will port out smoothly.

Reminds me of the fiasco I had with Digi port out.
In the end, I had done 9 times reapplying port-out after so many hurdles and excuses given.

Submitted port in request to Hotlink from Digi Prepaid yesterday, replied SMS from Digi this morning, afternoon received SMS from Digi: "Sorry, your request was rejected. SOME OR ALL NUMBERS ARE NOT IN SERVICE. Please call 0162211800 for help.

Called customer service, she said balance below RM5 cannot port out, straightaway topup RM5 and called Hotlink Care Line to resubmit port in request, and see how it goes.......

Never ever combine multiple services to the principal account holder. This is considered supplementary service to the system.

Example, U have mobile and fibre under the same telco and account name.

To port out, U will need to split the services individually. Once done, they only port out.

I have this problem before when porting out from Maxis. In the end, I ported out to U Mobile for telco and fibre is DiGi. Never ever combine services despite whatever promises given by the sales rep.

agree. i have 2 similar case like this. one is postpaid principal-supp line convert to individual principal and family plan and become standalone with prepaid ( demote from principal family plan).

1st case because the supp line want to port out and the celcom making both standalone principal. however during port out, always mention that the number tied with principal even already seperate. Last resort is to port both under same name, then no issue.

2nd issue, supp line become prepaid on digi. but there is glitch on digi system whereby even already prepaid, the plan still tied to family plan which need to do 2-3 report, then can port out

Today finally successful port in to Hotlink.

17.12.2023
Went to Maxis Centre TRX to request port in.

18.12.2023
Replied SMS from Digi, port out unsuccessful as balance below RM5, reload RM5 and called Hotlink to resubmit port in request.

19.12.2023
Not received port out SMS from Digi, called Digi she told me Hotlink does not request for port out, called Hotlink he told me port in being cancelled, need to go Maxis Centre to redo port in.

Nighttime went to Maxis Centre IPC, request port in again and being given new sim card, she asked me to throw away the previous sim card provided by Maxis Centre TRX.

20.12.2023
Received port out SMS from Digi in morning, replied and afternoon successfully port in to Hotlink.

Sorry to here that, but based on my previous experience with maxis and celcom, its pretty much the same with any Telco, sadly. Its a huge hassle.

By right they should just tell us upfront, that, all the procedure we need to do for porting out, rather than one after the other. And yes, having the principle account tied to many services is the bottleneck, but many wouldnt know about it untill we go thru the process (hassle)
