Hi everyone, I'm one of the users who opted for the Unifi 300Mbps plan, staying with Unifi 3.0 (MESH6) with the "Free 6-month upgrade to 500Mbps."

Last year, many of us were assured by TM that the speed would permanently be 500Mbps after the free period.

However just after the 6 months, I checked my speed test and found it at 297Mbps and won't go any higher. Is TM reneging on the permanent speed upgrade promise?

Another curious thing is that my bill shows "Unifi 300Mbps" in the header, but the description underneath states "Unifi Advance Plus 500Mbps (ST)," with a start date of 04/05/2024 and an end date of 03/06/2024.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

my speed retain at same after 6months bill waive . 300mbps in the header and desc states is advance plus 500mbps same as you.

Looks like same promo as YEP 2019. 3 mths free with contract renewal.

If me, better got special offer like SWU 3.0 to recontract, no 3 month free

b) In the event where relocation area do not have TM Infra , customer have the option to:
o Subscribe to Unifi Air; or
o Terminate current service and subject to early termination charges.

SWU3 dabest, dun think we'll ever get another offer as imba as that.

But it does not good enough for those people currently paying rm159 for 800mbps.
If they providing same price with 2gbps then it will become the best ever plan in next 2-3years.

Currently paying RM129 for 300MBPS(was upgraded from 100MBPS).

Most likely - after free 1gbps upgrade done,will renew for the 3 months free.

mine is exactly same package as yours. my speed abit over 500mbps if speedtest is done in the router. on device via Wifi AC i get below results

Imo not worth if you are out of contract. Better go to Tmpoint and request for SWU 4.0, rm119 for 300mbps free 6 months.
