Decided to prod TM a bit. Livechat with them on 7/7. Today got the call for the 1Gbps upgrade. CS just read out the terms of the upgrade - 800-1000/500, new modem/router (1-yr warranty), no charge for technician visit, no re-contract, price, UnifiTV & call package remains the same. Now wait for technician to set appointment.

The only thing I find strange is that, even though I was given a report number after the live chat, there's no sign of the ticket in either My Activities or My Orders.

Occasionally there will be few minutes of slowness loading certain websites or stream buffering but that's all

If you're using the combo BTU+router, some users are experiencing issues with it. Fortunately, I still have my original BTU, so I use that and keep the new combo BTU+router as spare.

Not in a hurry but eventually by year end need to login to download the statement for tax relief

On autopay, I will never subscribe again

Once I was charged RM2,000 because they made a mistake in the bill (wrong unifi tv plan given and they removed and add correct plan) so it triggered 'early termination' fees

I can tell you it was a nightmare asking them to issue a chargeback to my credit card doh.gif

Anyway in the midst of chatting with Live Chat and here we go again... ask to clear cache doh.gif

Just add selfcare URL in excl list and all back to normal but got to bear with an additional adbanner up there but not so free to block that one element alone so let it be lah

Probably adblocker out of sudden updated definition and caused this, or from TM

Well at least it is solved now myself

Otherwise TM gonna repeat the SOP clear cache cause they probably won't know their selfcare can't function after kenarrr adblocked

I asked them to configure the ONR in router mode for successful connection, then save the working router config into my PC. Then we do bridging, save another config for bridging mode.

2 config files for both router and bridge mode, so that if my own router fail, I can always temporarily change the router from bridge back to router mode and restore the saved router config for direct ISP connection.
