Hmmm... any good suggestions on which converter to use?? I mean to convert flv files to 3gp. Currently using mediacoder. I manage to view the video on the phone BUT no sound eh!

Did i miss something somewhere?

I used Poseidon Movie Coverter. Can choose the bit rate and fps and etc.

Oh, i like the FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter by Aone. The output quality is GOOD... But, eh, need to pay...

my w850 seem to be down soon.
juz now when i slide down it wont auto keylock den i restart its seem ok again.
and my slider is looser a day den a day,
no ideal why, i m trying to slide carefully but still...

anyway wats the 2nd price for this phone.

If u sell now if ur condition is 90% good then should be 500 plus onli if really bad 300 to 400 range. Go and repair la cost u 200 total like that and u get a good phone back what for sell? The auto lock mayb u press the call button leh?

hello guys. have any 1 come accross this so called "white screen of death"? i m desperately need u guys help..

it happened 4 weeks ago. it started with white screens. then it hangs / or turn to black screen. after restart the phone, it will be alright.. for 30 secs, n white screen thing came back again. n hang. n so on.

i brought back to the guy who sold me. n he brought back to his supplier. after 3 weeks, they said its jus a LCD prob.cost rm 100, which i paid.

the phone was working reli well, for 3 days. n now, its happening again! freaking piss. don feel like bringing back to the seller now..

since mine is a AP set (11 months old),

1. can i actually go to any SE shop to service/ fix for me?
2. does flashing the phone would totally fix it? or is ita hardware problem? or is this the so call 'white screen of death'?
3. how much would it cost to fix it?

any 1 with such experience at all? pls help..thx guys.

1. Depends. Some SESC doesn't accept AP set.
2. If it is because of firmware problem, flashing will solve the problem.

Actually leh is mayb ur firmware fs corrupt or ur EROM might be corrupt. Since u said u send to the AP shop b4 i guess they just reflash the firmware. They onli scam ur 100 ringgit saying that LCD damage lol. They are so not profesional. U should go for DR MOBILE or SE center to check whats the problem since they have the proper tools for it. Surely they charge you. Got money don wan to do business meh? Even NOKIA fix AP phone la. If sony don fix sue them on the net la. haha.

@ bold sentence : Ridiculous. You're using AP set which is not carry in by authorized dealer of SE. You might get your ass in trouble if you use that method.

mine is abt 7/10 condition,
slider loose, dpad crack, some holes at the casing and the edge of keypads is dirty.
but wont sell it la, use until spoil den juz throw.

Since now, no people actually know the phone problem. You can try to go and ask the price instead.
Firmware flashing will take awhile only. If they lazy, then different story.

Normally if they're good enough and you talk nicely, they MIGHT give you a temporary replacement phone. But that's highly unlikely they'll do so since yours is AP set.

I've had experiences like that in the pass with Siemens phone, got scammed by stupid phone seller they seems to sell me AP set but I didn't know (IMEI number not match with the sticker blah blah), bring it to the authorized service centre they even give me replacement phone, very nice. But that's just me being lucky and the company still very new.

Nowadays I think SE and Nokia won't do that cause they're the best sellers so they can sombong you haha.
