Awesome capability.

Thank you once again.  rclxms.gif

You can also convert physical SIM to eSIM directly not only transfer eSIM to eSIM.
What's the best part is Digi doesn't charge for this. biggrin.gif

Yes, it’s a new function on iOS 26. Your case was you didn’t pass eKYC earlier but if now all OK then it’s fine. I have been using eSIM since 5-6 years ago.
*
Question is, I'm still on iOS18. Not moving to 26 because of all the shenanigans of glitchy missing animation with the Liquid Glass theme on iOS26, plus the stress that puts to the phone (not risking it for old phone like my 12) and by the time Apple fix that with 26.1, I've decided to go with the Air.

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Oct 21 2025, 07:56 PM)
When you say transfer eSIM, generally there are 2 ways of understanding it.
From iPhone to another iPhone, can just transfer FOC during phone setup or from mobile data settings after you finish setting up. It is just like swapping your SIM into another phone.
From iPhone to Android or vice versa, need to request SIM replacement.
*
Exactly. As I pointed out on my curiosity edit last post, what's stopping me from asking for replacement e-sim and QR code scan that on to my Android? A sim is a sim, right? In this case, an e-sim is an e-sim. Don't tell me Celcom is segregating these e-sims to device platforms now? rclxub.gif

It's just in my nature to test the limit of the whole process that's new to me. I know for a fact that my iPhone and Honor Magic V5 can store multiple e-sim profiles on-device though only one can be active at the same time. That's how international travelers do, by using services like Airalo, Saily and Holafly that provide e-sims for different countries without the traveler losing the specific e-sim profile for the different countries they've been to, as long as the continue subscribed to the service. I'm interested on how many local telco e-sims I can store on my device(s), I understand the limitation of only one e-sim can be active at a time. I have XOX prepaid on my Honor Magic V5, but all these uncertainties with "can I move my Celcom postpaid esim "across platforms (iOS-Android vice versa)" is giving me pause. sweat.gif

Not sure if following might help, but...

I've 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, though both dual-SIM models. Both updated to iOS 26 with no issue so far.

For an older iPhone with only 1 physical SIM slot, I understand that it can store up to 6 or 8 eSIMs (oh, forgot about my 11 Pro that's not dual-SIM laugh.gif ). Only 1 eSIM can be active together with the physical SIM.

For the iPhone Air, I was surprised but very happy biggrin.gif that I can have 2 eSIM active at the same time. This model doesn't have physical SIM slot at all, but I'm adapting well. icon_rolleyes.gif

There is no segregation for eSIM replacement between iOS and Android. You can request as many times as you want, though be aware that some telco will charge for new eSIM QR.

Soon we can only register 2 numbers under one telco for prepaid, so if I've got one digi and one celcom considered different telco or under one telco?

I'm quite sure it won't apply to people already having more than two numbers, they won't ask to reduce to two only.
Just like last time, from 10 prepaid numbers and reduced to 5 today.

For your question should be considered one telco - CelcomDigi.

It is not yet announced, expected only in Q1 2026. Let's see by then but this is my guess just like how it was reduced from 10 to 5, just that you won't be able to register new numbers until it is reduced.

sometimes i reorganize and move my numbers around the telcos. limit of 2 leaves me with little or no room.

Fully understood your situation, somehow i don't understand why they limit the number of registration especially for prepaid users, as of now im fine with 2 prepaid numbers that currently use, 1 personal and 1 for work purpose

Ah yes, I only realised after getting my 17PM. Haven't bought a new PM for a few years until I decided to save some money by getting a local set.

Nice discovery, I must say. laugh.gif

Hi guys, am on digi postpaid 60 2021 with 5 supp lines.

Thinking of using 1 sim from supp line with a 4g modem for my holiday home. Mainly to connect cctv and for wifi when we are there during weekends.

Is this possible or allowed? I dont see anything regarding hotspot on the app for my plan.

Celcomdigi already revamped whole plan. You actually can use 4G Modem FOR CCTV purpose as only it's consume small amount of data no issues. Stay with old plan
