How many numbers can the new CelcomDigi app manage? I read 5 somewhere (Google results), and I hope not...
Since we can have a maximum of 5 numbers each from Celcom and Digi separately... before, at least. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 8 2025, 07:47 PM) For the first time, I only logged in with one of my numbers then did an eKYC, after that it shows all my other numbers. Didn't recall require any OTP after that. I think only the first time ot may need, but it has been some time since I did it. I can't seem to get through the Biometric part. The app asked for iPhone passcode to do the Biometric verification, but I got a failure message after. Something to do with my iPhone settings, any idea? Actually after I tried yesterday, I got a "eKYC Verification has been completed and info update is in progress, please wait and try later.", but today still had to go from beginning again and Biometric verification failed... |

QUOTE(RDoe @ Oct 11 2025, 08:31 AM) I can't seem to get through the Biometric part. Finally found a chance (time and patience The app asked for iPhone passcode to do the Biometric verification, but I got a failure message after. Something to do with my iPhone settings, any idea? Actually after I tried yesterday, I got a "eKYC Verification has been completed and info update is in progress, please wait and try later.", but today still had to go from beginning again and Biometric verification failed... Simply put, I didn't (have never) set Face ID to unlock my iPhone before, so Biometric Verification couldn't work. Turned on Face ID to unlock my iPhone, and went through the verification on the CelcomDigi app. Smooth success after that. Rest of my numbers appeared in a short while. (User) problem solved. lolabunny123 liked this post

QUOTE(confusecius @ Oct 12 2025, 08:40 PM) ok.. That thought has come to my mind, coz I've to help a friend with his account next, and it's an Oppo phone. dumb question.. do all phone got face id? i dont see any setting in my cheap android phone for it.. so my verification failed all the times.. . still not verified since few days ago.. go back to celcomlife for a while i guess.. until got solution.. also got mydigi.. two months until the app KO.. huhuhu... I encountered the problem because I've never used Face ID on my iPhones all this while, though I knew it's an option before. It's until now that I needed it for the CelcomDigi app that I activated it. Now I've to figure it out on that Oppo phone. If your phone has an option for Biometric Unlock (Face ID and/or Fingerprint or maybe even voice), then I guess it'd help. Otherwise might have to visit a Digi Centre for help. confusecius liked this post

I finally tried and managed to transfer my eSIM from old iPhone to my new one! Thank you very much for sharing this info, and saving me a trip to CD Centre. KomradMikhail liked this post

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 22 2025, 10:13 AM) Yes, this year when I changed my iPhone from 16PM to 17PM, I used the eSIM transfer and everything was seamless. At first, I thought to use online function to get a replacement but the iOS function is even better. Been visiting Digi Centre every year once I get the new iPhone but this year finally it’s not needed. Awesome capability. Thank you once again. |

QUOTE(KomradMikhail @ Oct 22 2025, 11:40 PM) Question is, I'm still on iOS18. Not moving to 26 because of all the shenanigans of glitchy missing animation with the Liquid Glass theme on iOS26, plus the stress that puts to the phone (not risking it for old phone like my 12) and by the time Apple fix that with 26.1, I've decided to go with the Air. Not sure if following might help, but...Exactly. As I pointed out on my curiosity edit last post, what's stopping me from asking for replacement e-sim and QR code scan that on to my Android? A sim is a sim, right? In this case, an e-sim is an e-sim. Don't tell me Celcom is segregating these e-sims to device platforms now? It's just in my nature to test the limit of the whole process that's new to me. I know for a fact that my iPhone and Honor Magic V5 can store multiple e-sim profiles on-device though only one can be active at the same time. That's how international travelers do, by using services like Airalo, Saily and Holafly that provide e-sims for different countries without the traveler losing the specific e-sim profile for the different countries they've been to, as long as the continue subscribed to the service. I'm interested on how many local telco e-sims I can store on my device(s), I understand the limitation of only one e-sim can be active at a time. I have XOX prepaid on my Honor Magic V5, but all these uncertainties with "can I move my Celcom postpaid esim "across platforms (iOS-Android vice versa)" is giving me pause. I've 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, though both dual-SIM models. Both updated to iOS 26 with no issue so far. For an older iPhone with only 1 physical SIM slot, I understand that it can store up to 6 or 8 eSIMs (oh, forgot about my 11 Pro that's not dual-SIM For the iPhone Air, I was surprised but very happy KomradMikhail liked this post

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 23 2025, 09:45 AM) From iPhone 13 onward you can have both eSIMs active at the same time, no need one of them is a physical SIM. Ah yes, I only realised after getting my 17PM. Haven't bought a new PM for a few years until I decided to save some money by getting a local set. Nice discovery, I must say. |
