Zero reason to use that GX card to pay Jaya Grocer. Use Maybank AMEX on weekend can get 5% cashback.

GX = 500 points rebate RM5. To get 500 points need to spend RM500. If pay using Maybank Amex, spend RM500 already get RM25 cashback.

well one is debit card the one is credit card so cant really compare..but yeah not happy that the jaya grocer one got reduced...

Anyone has experience with forex exchange rate of GX vs other local banks?

Say I'm swiping my card at Hong Kong, should I use GX Debit Card (1% cashback with better forex) or Alliance Visa Infinite (x10 TBP, converted to TNG around 1.67% CB, but with worse forex)?

No idea abt Alliiance. But Gxbank with 1% cashback taking into considerations forex rates is slightly better than using Wise card.

GXBank 1% overseas only for offline.
so any offline overseas spend i will b using GXBank.

if going China, Alipay consider online use Wise better than GX.
and GX always will hav prob if link to Alipay, trx always not able to go thru.

contacted their CS they say totally no prob but my trx just can't go thru.

Yes. confirmed gxbank card cannot use on weixin pay and alipay. tested last month. So dont bother to use gxbank at china

Everywhere is not safe... Just need to living with all these & be smart enough.... I meant keep changing your cards time to time... Also password....

Important is don't save your card information in any website.... For purchase or whatsoever....

For Forex rate, all banks using Visa or Mastercard clearing will have to use their rates. And may add additional charges/discount (eg. GXbank 1% disc) on top of the rate..

but i think there is statement in TnC stated that gxbank has right to terminate the account if zero or negative balance.

more than 10 and make sure sometimes in and out - once a month. keep enough for grab services use

no need to move everything out. RM91.25 will give you RM0.005 rounded up to RM0.01 daily, effectively 4%p.a.

RM91 * 10 pockets + 1 main = RM1,003.75 4%pa

add with Ryt RM20,000 4%pa that gives you RM21,003.75 @ 4%pa
