Actually its limited by number of notes. If the ATM dispenses only RM 50, then its 1.5K. If it dispenses RM 100, then 3K each time.

QUOTE(leanman @ Jan 16 2024, 02:34 PM)
last encounter via atm, its max 1.5k each time and max per day is 3k

Please update us of your experience after next month.

QUOTE(Yapmy @ Feb 13 2024, 02:28 PM)
Did anyone test swiping the GX debit card overseas? Will be in Japan next month and wanted to try using GX instead of Bigpay or Wise but was wondering how is the FX conversion rate used.

If payment then should be, if normal transfer then no. Payment excluding those in the exclusion list. Anyway, test it out.

QUOTE(hightechgadgets8 @ Mar 19 2024, 12:02 PM)
tried the QR payment, works as per normal

got cashback from paying with QR?

Please ensure you have at least RM 200 in main account. Sometimes petrol station uses the preauthorized amount of RM 200 before allow purchase.

Whatever is it, if you find the reason, we will appreciate it.

Any idea if Account 3 form part of the cap of $100K per annum?

QUOTE(PJusa @ Sep 6 2024, 11:18 AM)
Why do you guys not keep it in EPF Account 3 as CASA. More interest than 3% anyway and you still can take out the money.

For Forex rate, all banks using Visa or Mastercard clearing will have to use their rates. And may add additional charges/discount (eg. GXbank 1% disc) on top of the rate..

For MC, https://www.mastercard.com/us/en/personal/g...-converter.html
For Visa, https://www.visa.com.my/support/consumer/tr...calculator.html

Hope this helps.

QUOTE(victorian @ Aug 12 2025, 12:21 PM)
Anyone has experience with forex exchange rate of GX vs other local banks?

Say I'm swiping my card at Hong Kong, should I use GX Debit Card (1% cashback with better forex) or Alliance Visa Infinite (x10 TBP, converted to TNG around 1.67% CB, but with worse forex)?
