And another one which used B segment platform before on c segment sedan was nissan Sylphy G11 (quite spacious at that time because wheelbase stretch to 2700, but width quite narrow compared to Altis, civic at that time)

Thanks for the clarification. Someone here was confused and stated that the Proton S70 is a B-segment sedan because it uses Geely's BMA platform, ie the Proton S70 is not a C-segment sedan. .......

thruth is, proton wants to be competitive thus that is the sole reason why a C-segment size ish car being sold at B-segment car price like eg. vios/honda.

it had all sorts of upper edge if compare to vios n city but losing end compare to altis n civic.

Engine is derived from 2.0 4cylinder T5 but down to 3cylinder 1.5 on GEP3 version used by proton with GDI swapped with MPI so already stray away from Volvo original

I think Geely is happy to do anything they want because there is no emission standard required by Malaysia law; so they can just maximise the engine with no worries
