So even though the 4th gen is equal to larger than 1st gen in anyway
It is not the same segment?
Or issit geely suka hati declar it as b segment
As with proton suka hati declare declare
What does segment denotes?
Me objective here
Segmentation is more than just size, but usually the way to differentiate is by size, most notably by wheelbase. It is not the same segment?

Compare size between gen years, i.e. C segment in 2010 and C segment now is also dumb because cars have grown. You should only compare to current cars.
Now let's see the dimensions.

Based on Proton’s figures, the S70 is just 13 mm longer than the Honda City and 61 mm wider, with a wheelbase that’s 27 mm longer.
On that note, today’s Civic FE is 76 mm longer than the S70, and the Honda’s 2,735 mm wheelbase is a whopping 108 mm longer. In fact, going by the numbers, the S70 is actually closer to the City than the Civic in size. And all of the Civic, Toyota Corolla and Mazda 3 are also lower slung than the S70, giving them sportier proportions that are more inline with the C-segment.

So Honda City < S70 13mm length, 27mm WB < Civic 76mm length, 108mm WB
Wheelbase is important for the interior space, ride and handling, and NVH perception. Longer of course means more space. Longer WB means the ride is better, more comfortable. The difference between sitting in City and Civic is not just because less noise insulation in City, but the longer WB too.
The 108mm wheelbase difference alone should be clear that S70 is B segment.
Then of course the build and equipment. I'm not talking about those features. I'm talking about the engineering, like multilink rear suspension vs torsion beam suspension. Almost all C segments have multilink, EXCEPT Mazda3, which is a specially engineered torsion beam that is lower NVH than normal multilink. Can read more here pt.org/2019/06/19/2019-mazda-3-a-detailed-look-at-the-fourth-gen-model/
S70 is a torsion beam setup. Again, more common in B segment than C segment.
Now can look at true C segment from Proton, X70, that share the same 70 badge.
If you sit in both immediately you can see a lot of differences in quality of life parts. Open bonnet, X70 is fully covered, with bonnet damper. S70 only bonnet rod and naked engine, even less covering than X50 same BMA brother.
Door is hard plastic, X70 use soft touch plastic.
Armrest behind is not even comparable in both cars.
Sunshade is auto, S70 shade is manual. Leather quality also different
Many areas S70 is much cheaper feeling than X70. Of course la price different ma. Most areas same quality as X50, not X70. But if you say you are C segment, then I compare you to C segment like X70 and Civic la, isn't it? If you say C-segment car at B-segment price, then I expect C segment quality at B segment price woh, but you give B segment quality at B segment price then..........fair also but don't cakap besar la.
