just got mine from 100MBPS to 300MBPS but dunno why my speedtest show around 185 MBPS. High rise condo.

My modem is HG6240A and router i just changed last week to TPLINK AX12/AX1500 - supports up to 1 GBPS.

Rebooted router and modem still same..

EDIT: Tested with Steam - downloads manage to go up to 30MB/s! Previously only managed to go up to 10MB/s

Former 100Mbps user upgraded to 300Mbps speed
Fiberhome ONU / 2x Deco M4 setup.

The download is now significantly faster than before.

Tested using LAN.


Then using laptop with Wifi.


And lastly using phone..

Modem is he silver colour one. Router is AX73. Lan connection no issue at all. I have set my wifi setting for 5ghz to 20/40/80 and fixed a channel, i think the performance improved.

It happens to me for my 300Mbps to 500Mbps fsu last few weeks ago. Speed is up and down for 5ghz.The problem is nth in the settings has been changed during the upgrade and the 5ghz speedtest cant even reach previous 300 max speed. No issue for lan connection, 500+ w/o any issue. .After that, i tried to set the bandwidth for 5ghz to 20/40/80mHz (was 20/40) and fixed the wifi channel only the speedtest can exceed 450 (not everytime) but definitely better than before.

Anyone like this, getting notification saying upgrade is completed, reboot and second day reboot again, but the speed still remain at 480+, should go up to 800 but it didn't. By the way, i am testing using direct wire and not wifi.

whats the current model of router you using? does it support 800mbps?

TP Link Deco X68, ya, this wifi router is having 2 Gigabit Ports, so, for sure can support.

Had to call TM. Apparently there were some issues with those on 500mbps from the Turbo days. Glad to report it's fixed within 1 working day.

800mbps enjoyer now 😅

Just chat with the Unifi online CS, and mentioned in my area got internet slow issue which they already informed technical team to resolve. Look like again related to infra issue. Well... guess I need to continue monitor for days and see when the speed is I suppose to get.

Just same as my situation. Remember to lodge a complain report to MCMC Malaysia. TM Unifi will settle it very fast.

Received sms and app notification yesterday for upgrade completed and ask for router and modem restart. No speed change after restart. Today try call 100, CS mention my account yet to upgrade and sms received is false sent by TM. Ask me ignore the sms and need wait my account upgrade. so sad the answer by TM given.

No worry. Just file a complain to MCMC Malaysia with the screen shot of the sms.

Will consider it. Btw, tomorrow i will try livechat with TM agent. See what the answer given.

Got the free speed upgrade sms yesterday around 1.30 pm. From 100Mbps to 300Mbps.
