Not really, spec wise 14 Pro and 15 Pro use the same camera
Main: 48MP, ƒ/1.78 aperture
Ultra Wide: 12MP, ƒ/2.2 aperture
Telephoto: 12MP, ƒ/2.8 aperture
while the 15 has a slightly different 48Mp camera with different aperture
Main: 48MP, ƒ/1.6 aperture
Ultra Wide: 12MP, ƒ/2.4 aperture
14 Pro still has the Always on display, 120Hz, longer rated battery life, Macro photography, night mode portrait,ProRaw, ProRes, LiDAR and etc
The only upside of 15 is probably the USB-C and software locked SmartHDR 5 and the new portrait feature.
15 vs 14 Pro upgrade for 12 Pro users or older? I would recommend 15 lah because overtime 15 can last longer with USB-C port and because of USB-C port, resale value of iPhone 15 long term is also better than 14 Pro.
Can't deny that 14 Pro has the better camera hardware but 15 has the latest marginally better camera software than 14 Pro (and much better than iPhone 14), like the new Smart Portrait depth info feature whereby you can adjust focus after you take a shot (for situations where autofocus didn't work or you were in a rush and want to adjust focus later).
One example showcased was when user taking a photo of her and her dog with the food on the table, the camera may have accidentally focused on food and blurred the user and the dog, but with Smart Portrait, iPhone 15 can change the focus back to her and her dog when editing the photo later, because depth info of the photo was also saved at the same time.
Anyways, back to iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 15, which to buy? For general users, iPhone 15 is really enough (assuming your previous iPhone was iPhone 12 Pro or older). Save that money for maybe AirPods Pro 2nd Gen with USB C.
And for camera geeks, skip iPhone 14 Pro entirely since iPhone 15 Pro has a lot of meaningful upgrades that are important long term like USB 3 USB C and the better camera hardware, ProRes, ProRaw and all those high storage camera capabilities.
