Hey, someone already do benchmark for the 3870 X2 on 3D mark 06 at 2560X1600! The score is 9573 with only using C2D E6600 2.4GHz no OC.

hye, i've just migrate from 8800gt to HD3870 today ....the IQ was great eventhough a little bit slower than 8800GT...currently running on stock speed at idle temperature of 64c (fan speed 25%)...is this OK? coz after that i spin the Fan 100% then the temperature went down to 43c during idle and max of 67c during Crysis gameplay...but the fan is very loud at 100%

one more thing it seems i couldnt run 3Dmark06, it's kinda hang during the first splash screen...anybody xperience this?

download the patch from 3dmark site then only wont hang

my stock idle temp is 48 and load is 66 at 50% fan speed and so i guess yours would be fine then as 4 the fan and heat problem is common with 3870 users

almost impossible i thing ...even with an overclocked 8800GT and a 3.0ghz F3, manage to get 10500 score only ....as long it increase the ingame FPS i'll be okay...especially crysis

happy more and more ati user migrating from 8800gt.

If the price is right, I may migrate to R680 from this HD3870. Then again, may need 2 HR03GT for that behemoth

looks like Ati 38xx series is interesting..i`m using 8600GT now...
maybe plan to change the GC...
