got a chargEV membership via the bank when i took my loan.

for my case, i would probably not take any subscription as my main charging is done at home.

if i was going to charge frequently outside, factors would be on where the convenient charges are located
whoever they belonged to would be the one i subscribe to as the suitable one

if no fixed charging pattern, the one with more chargers available would be second consideration.

Last Friday placed order for RWD, this Tuesday submitted LOU to Tesla and DA replied me to patiently waiting for VIN number assignment. Anyone has any idea roughly how long it'll take to get VIN number assigned?

And in the meantime, should I proceed to sign loan agreement without VIN number (or are we able to at all)? About the insurance, just gotten quotation, when is the good time for me to make payment for the insurance? Sorry if question is noob, first timer need some advices.

Hey there, just to clarify that the 0% interest is only for the Model 3 RWD only. The low interest of 0.78% (RWD), 0.98% (Long Range) and 1.18% (Performance) is applicable for all Model 3 trims. Let me know if you need any clarifications on the current promos.

It reads
Customer can own a Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive at a monthly payment as low as RM 2,430 per month (Approx. RM 81 per day) at a 0% interest rate by settling at least 20% deposit and joining 60-month payment term.

Let me help you out, it will take roughly 1 to 2 months before the VIN is assigned to you. (Note that it is an estimated timeline ya, means can be early or can be delayed). You don't have to sign the LOU now yet as there is no benefit of doing so. Just tell your banker to hold on and wait for your reply on the VIN. Best to do now is wait or settle your registration first (bid a number or interchange).

Thanks for your prompt reply. Wow, that's quite a long wait. I am aiming for the 0% and quite worried that unable to get car delivery by 30 Sept. I have already purchased number plate through MySIKAP and submitted the receipt to Tesla, I suppose this is done and settled?

The reason I'm thinking to sign those documents earlier is to avoid any possible delays from my end, so to move things as fast as possible once the car is ready (still, aiming for the 30 Sept delivery deadline).

Again, that is a conservative estimate in terms of the timeline. We still have 1 and a half months left before the end of Q3. And we are estimating a huge delivery during September. Now its just a waiting game.

Sure, the RM15k payment is no longer applicable for auto loans. Only for cash payments. The rest is spot on.

Depends on the config, likely due to the one you taking has available stocks or someone else with the same config dropped their order.

Hi there, I booked a Model 3 Performance on 27 July'24. So far, I haven't received a VIN. You said you are estimating a huge delivery during September. Will it be similar like this news?

Tesla Malaysia being Model 3 Performance deliveries

Any guess of which week of September for the delivery? Early, mid, or last week of September?

Any plan to open Tesla Experience in Johor Bahru soon? How about the expansion of Tesla Superchargers in JB too? The current one at Sunway Medini is a bit too far from JB City Center.
