hi i have got a question for you all, how do you update the software OTA usually?

i live in a condo and i have no wifi, i have to connect to hotspot which requires me to stay in the car for like 1hour+? this doesnt seem feasible and i have just walked out after 10 minutes cause im impatient.

wondering if there is a place in KV that offers free wifi so i can leave the car there for 1-2 hours to update the OTA.

buy a 4g wifi hotspot device, leave the device in the car for continuous connection.

Once there is new update available, every time you enter your car, connect to hotspot, then drive normally. Leave the car normally once you reach your destination and repeat the same on next drive. The download will resume itself and after a couple drives, the download should complete and the car will prompt you to schedule a time for it to run update (usually at 12am). It does not require internet connection during update, so you can just leave it at carpark and let it update itself.

That’s how I’ve been updating the car for the past year without WiFi available at my condo carpark.

tesla can blast your contact to bankers and insurance agent if you want to or you also can look for your banker by yourselves
