yah double clicking is also a problem for me. Use the chrome button.
my new unit is also hot like previous. However the heat is reduced substantially after i put in on my less then RM10 notebook cooler.

boot time and shut down are faster due to the use of ssd drive. i notice that with the same software.. my eeepc is twice faster for boot up / shut down compare to my desktop.

the whole linux OS is included inside the bundled disk, hence u can revert back to factory setting anytime u want, even u have XP-ed

at pc fair probably u can get it.. but i think is limited also due to worldwide shortage.

but i think after this, more manufacturers will produce notebook like this.. small & cheap price.

Well I installed VLC on the eePC but... H.264 playback... not working yet.

Or rather... it works.. just that the processor just can't seem to be able to cope with the files (which have a rather high bitrate) that's being thrown at it.

go get streamyx and wireless router bro.

Gen-X,

Trying to avoid streamyx as I dont have a line to connect ... most of the time using office network ... and eee pc with linux is just nice for my kids ... as previous experience with windows pc ... always windows kaput as they dont really know to use properly ...

if the 3g connection wont work I got no choice to reformat to windows also ...

my eee pc just can recognice the nokia as data connection ... but no modem available ... still looking how to add my nokia 6120c as new hardware ... to make 3g connection
