oohhhh thx dude...and still about the batt... Im quite worry if the batt will die faster if I frequently charge it when there is only less than 10% power remaining....
*
Does this theory proved? I'm the kind of person who can't wait to charge the batt when I'm not using it, coz starting a game with only 30% left in the batt make me feel really uncomfortable biggrin.gif
I have been charging my PSP even when it's 60+% or sometime overcharging it. I have used it two years and don't really notice any shorte batt life....

MEMORY STICK PROBLEM:-

The MS can't be read by the psp and the computer. i tried to format using the psp, it said there were no presence of MS inside.

Then i try to format using the computer, it said the format cannot be completed.

Hmm, then i try to scan for virus. cannot also.

Any idea what's happening and how to deal with this stuff??

the MS is indeed original.

plz help.

I'm not sick of this question yet ... so I'll try to answer it.

I think PSP2000 have 2 additional functions (PlayStation Spot and 1-Seg) compared to the others and these functions only work in Japan. 1-Seg requires "1Seg" TV tuner (model PSP-S310) peripheral addon. These functions are also available on other models with custom firware by setting Fake region to Japan.

Another difference is it's region code. PSP2000 is Region 2 and PSP2006 is Region 3. With original firmware you can only watch region free or Region 2 UMD movies with PSP2000. You should be able to watch UMD movies of any region with custom firmware, but I've come across some UMD movies which only works on PSPs with the specified region.

This number indicates the intended region the unit was designed for. These model numbers are as follows:
PSP2000 - Japan
PSP2001 - USA
PSP2002 - Australia
PSP2003 - United Kingdom
PSP2004 - Europe, Middle East, and Africa
PSP2005 - Korea
PSP2006 - Hong Kong
PSP2007 - Taiwan
PSP2008 - Russia
PSP2009 - China
PSP2010 - Mexico

Most UMD Movies are region locked. I think the regions are:
Region 1: Canada, U.S., U.S. Territories.
Region 2: Japan, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East.
Region 3: Southeast Asia, East Asia (including Hong Kong)
Region 4: Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America, Caribbean
Region 5: Former Soviet Union, Indian Subcontinent, Africa (also North Korea, Mongolia)
Region 6: China

I noe that this question has been asked a lot of times and i oso noe myself that psp model 2000 is japan and 2006 is from HK.

Wat im trying to ask is....do they have any "special" diff other then region lock and others?

Btw anyone mind to teach me change the X into confirmation button?Instead of O

1. Go to "Recovery Menu" by turning off your PSP, and turning it back on while holding the "R Trigger" button.

2. In Recovery Menu, go to Registry Hacks, and you can see an option to swap the X and O button. Make the change, and exit the Recovery Menu.

3. The PSP will reboot when you exit the Recovery Menu.

Yes, it's worth it considering brand new PSP costs at least RM 800.
