Yer that’s why I’m surprised when I see all these old ppl playing badminton or cycling for 40km. Really tak takut mati. 40 years of abuse. Eating carbs and sugar. Then think they kebal and do crazy things even without checking their blood vessels.  Pity their wife and children to suffer now

most probably they reached zon 5 for heart rate for long time, the heart suddenly KO already

that's why most people who play sport should have a heart rate watch and monitor their hr

dont push for zon5 too often, except if u understand ur body well

Badminton a high risk game. If you did not play it while you young, refrain yourself playing whe. Is older.

Unless you have huge insurance coverage.

So very true, especially for working adults, you won't get much vege unless you go for mixed rice and even then a lot of mixed rice places just give you lots of rice like no tomorrow sweat.gif

to reach this level i believe must be always consistent.
from young to old very active, always exercise play sports regularly.
then no need to give self excuses that old already cannot play sports and exercise.

majority of the people around you, im sure you can count with your 10 fingers how many are consistent. right?
consistent doesn't mean one week play badminton one time and that is the only time he sweat.
i mean daily workout / exercise that will pump up the heart.

Nope, but aren't we talking about balanced diet here? Balanced diet needs a lot more fibre than we normally consume eating out which veges and fruits have. To many, "I do sports thus I can eat anything" is like a mantra but EVEN if you do sports but you eat more than the calories you burn, you'll not lose weight and worse yet, if you don't watch what you eat.

Not much into fitness stuff (and definitely not vegetarian/vegan lifestyle) but I do believe a balanced diet helps a lot in reducing heart attacks.

Correct method of cpr will break your ribs for older people, especially above 40.
If no break, means you are doing it wrong.

No, a balanced diet would be more beneficial.

It is when you resort to frying and processing vegetables to taste and feel like meat that the drawbacks cancel out the gains.

That's the uncle's wife. Probably fainted due to the shock, stress or trauma when her husband collapsed.
