Nice, just ordered myself yesterday and cost thousands over than your used unit. I'll definitely go for it.

Did you go for the pro? or the air? I have been thking alot about it .. air is cheaper, but pro is more practical in a long run .. just comparing the base 16 gb/512gb

I finally went with the MBP 14", was waiting for the MBA15 (waited many months actually haha) and found that the 1K different is not worth to go for the 15" ones smile.gif But really, it depends on what you gonna do with it. The MBP will be replacing my many years old Dell Latitude, it is mainly for my day-to-day programming tasks. I bought the base 16GB/512GB + apple care.

Indeed. If comparing the same spec of 16/512gb it is more worth it to go for MBP 14” since the difference is not significant and one gets a lot more with MBP.

Only reason why one should go for the MBA 15-inch should be just due to the weight.

1.51kg VS 1.6kg. Hardly any weight difference IMO.
And in terms of portability, the 14” is actually more portable with a smaller footprint than the 15” Air.

The only reason to go for 15” is for the bigger screen size for those who only wants to use it for multimedia and light tasks e.g ms word/excel etc.

Got the mbp16 for few weeks now and what I can say is the screen and speakers are outstanding!

The speakers are superb, I play music on it and it won't lose to my usual BT speakers in term of sound wise.

And battery life already better than my windows laptop.

Damn where can I get the Apple care plan? It’s out of stock??
How to buy from Apple website ah? The Apple website tells me to buy from local retailer, and Switch and Machines told me to buy from Apple website. Hahah.

I know the meaning of it, but I feel it unnatural instead, as it feel the movement is opposite. 😅
Agreed in what you said, on touch screen then different.

Welcome to the Mac. My first Mac was with the MBP in 2015 when it first comes along with the force touch trackpad. Natural scrolling and everything else is with the trackpad is just damn intuitively awesome I never looked back. Gosh…who could ever imagine using a laptop without a mouse but with a Macbook, who needs a freaking mouse. rclxm9.gif thumbup.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Today I visited the Machines and finally got my AppleCarePlan. Was just going in to get something else but ended up they said they could do it. Weird, their online and in store communication don’t align.
