it seems miui is using emulated/999 storage for its dual apps function, should be easy to backup/copy,,

but i encounter difficulty to install apk into isolated environment/sandbox using miui package installer,,,,prompt "there was a problem parsing the package",,, i can install app via the sandbox playstore but cannot install apk in it,,, i am using 'island' app btw,, need to try other alternatives,,anyone knows please share,,,

Facing my first issue with Poco F5, headphone jack isn't working, when I plugin my headphone there is a screeching sound, restared my phone and tried it with a differet headphone still headphone jack not working.

did you test with stock or other media player?

i also discovered its quite tricky to select new ringtone for whatsapp call, i cannot see the same stock ringtone collection that i have selected for normal call,,,,
because whatsapp can see files located in /system/media/audio/notifications folder only, but the stock ringtones are in /system/media/audio/ringtones folder
we need to copy the audio file outside from /system,,, only then whatsapp can find it,,,

Select the Theme app when changing ringtone for whatsapp then it will let you choose from pre-installed stock ringtones or add your own. No need to go into file manager folders at all. To add your own tones you can go into pre-installed in Themes and tap the green + button then add from folder, it will then be added along stock tones inside the Theme app for selection.

Maybe it is faulty, if you tried other phones and still the same go return it or claim.

It's definitely faulty, I will go to service center to get it checked.

tried before, but no success,, if i select theme app via whatsapp it only shows short ringtones in the listing (normally for notifications), if i were to add a new ringtone file/folder, it wont find the stock ringtone..unless i copy out the file first

I don't understand, it should appear under your My Ringtones list, even the long ones. Maybe your eu rom is different? When I select pre-installed ringtones in Theme app, it shows Notification tones first, then Ringtones and bottom Alarm tones, all stock from the phone. Then if I add my own it is added to the top of the list under My Ringtones.

What's your primary device?

If this purchase is for media and navigation only, the Poco F5 is the better buy. Even the Poco X4 Pro, Poco X5 or Poco X5 Pro should be sufficient if you already have a primary device, since media means 120Hz AMOLED and navigation is that GPS accuracy is important.

My primary device is S22 Ultra I do all my banking private stuff on there. That's why camera is not a issues. I just want take out 2nd sim from my primary device since battery life not been good.
Also I want to use Digi 5G network in 2nd device as Malaysian 5G based on B28 I really curious Poco supports it?

want to ask: Is it normal volte and vowifi can't be at the same time. My poco f5 if i connect to wifi the volte icon dissappear and vowifi appear vice versa.

Another question about vowifi. If I use vowifi to make call is it foc? I'm using hotlink prepaid btw
