Redmi CN budget models purposely cut support for international 4g bands like B7, B20 and B28

And coincidently current DNB NSA network rely on B28 as anchor band. Unless DNB or second network eventually add SA network, Chinese phones imported especially xiaomi budgets models will not have 5g support

Flashing global firmware will not unlock the missing bands since it is written in nvram compartment which is not touched by the system software

My preferred method is USB C to USB C data cable during setup screen. Then Google will handle the rest from there. Alternatively, Google also offer wireless but I found it to be longer, and sometimes unreliable.

No, you cannot transfer from S10 to Poco F5 using Samsung Smart Switch. Samsung Smart Switch is for transfer from other Android to Samsung phone only

4G still long way to be retired, no worry

It will reinstall back the apps you had on your previous phone, but some applications(particularly those without login credentials) may have reset data because new device. If the app has login credentials, most probably, you need not transfer manually(except for WeChat).

Most importantly, you need to backup WhatsApp on your old device, before logging into new device.

this is why i dont take the RN12T with 16gb + 1TB storage. I need a workable 5G phone instead large storage.

I have one for my parents coming soon, how do you transfer from Samsung to Xiaomi with the usb-c cable? I have c-to-c cable. Is it prompted on setup or need a guide? My dad's old phone is S23.

so far performance is lag free,,,browsing scrolling feel buttery smooth,, have not test playing games yet or do throttling test,,,later



overall i am very impressed with customization options the current xiaomi.eu has,,,a lot can be customized now (since my last mi phone ~2016)
e.g the stock launcher,,,i have a tendency to quickly change every phone stock launcher to nova because of its simplicity and has all functions i want
but the xiaomi.eu stock launcher already offer comparable functions as nova i think i just keep using it

both,,, you know all f5/rn12t variants are using the same codename right (marble),,, 1 rom release can match all

i flashed using fastboot,,,still using stock recovery,,,i think i just wait for official twrp to be avalaible (then maybe also wait for official lineage os)

right now very happy with xiaomi.eu,,,,
