The closer we get to Almighty God, the Devil is always there to create trouble for us. But if we stray away from God and sin, sure the Evil one won't kacau one. In fact, the Evil one will encourage one to continue to sin, to go against the will of God. Being vaccinated means we are no longer God's servant? A lot of misguided if not crazy opinions nowadays. That idea actually stems from mark of the beast in book of revelation where if you don't get the mark (Whatever mark that is..be it vaccination, implanted microchips, etc) you are not allowed to buy and sell. With the Holy Spirit, we are safe from the Evil one. The thing is, ppl just simply connect whatever the mark is to whatever they feel like it. Truth is, for proper bible context Mark of the beast must be interpreted together with the revealed Anti-Christ who rules the entire world. It cannot be simply calling this or that as mark of the beast...same thing we cannot simply call this fella or that fella as Anti-Christ. Sigh. A lot of distractions I notice whenever scripture is being shared. |

That is because these not born again are not guided by the Holy Spirit, hence whatever they write will contradict the Word of God in it's entirety. Take one passage only, tahap itu je diaorang punya understanding. Take another passage, tahap tu je diaorang punya understanding. It's like the entirety of the Holy Bible has no use whatsoever. A lot of distractions I notice whenever scripture is being shared. So it's best for us to remain in HIM and HE in us, so that we continue to do our Father's will. Consider these distractions from the Evil one as tests that strengthens us, both in mind and in spirit, just like how gold is purified by fire. Peace my bro. Jesus Christ is a real person. This Jewish guy met Christ in a vision. We don't have just a religion. It's not about words or arguments but about powerful encounter! One encounter with Christ changed his life. |

QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Jun 10 2023, 02:49 PM) I don't get this, how did this Rabbi not know about our Lord Jesus Christ, prior to that powerful encounter ? There are so many Jews who are already following Jesus Christ and there Jewish organizations even spreading the word about Jesus Christ, so how could he had missed all the signs ? The problem with 2nd temple Judaism is because it has been changed after the time of Jesus. The present Judaism is very different from that of Jesus. The rabbis and indeed, the teachers of the Law had been making firm resistance to the revelation of Messiah Jesus because theie position was threatened by this appearance of the incarnation of God. Through the years, this type of Judaism has taken root in among the Jews. So much so that they are blinded to the prophecies of the Tanakh to date. One day they will see the Messiah as this rabbi saw. Indeed, many rabbis are slowly recognising Jesus their Messiah. QUOTE Zech 12 8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. |

That is how it is with our Lord going out of His way to make a special guest appearance for this lost sheep 🐑, since the organizations failed to get the word through this sheep. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Amen. |

In view of the recent turn of event on this thread, this Scripture came to mind.
Do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but TEST them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere. So be wise as serpents and careful as doves in such tests. Peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ to all my born again brethren. This post has been edited by Roman Catholic: Jun 11 2023, 08:55 AM |

Yes true and the Devil is extremely cunning to the extent with it's play of words, eg "I am one of you" etc etc. However all that charade begins to falls apart like a house of cards, when the writings starts to contradict directly against the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. And it goes without saying "All" the purpose of why Jesus Christ came in the flesh, IE Christ death and resurrection on cross for Salvation of Mankind. Any spirit that tries to contradict this is the spirit of Anti-Christ, from the devil. And if you think about all the religions available in this world, which one fits this..... I am no expert in other religious text but I spotted this very interesting text yesterday, Koran 69: 44-46. Spot the difference contest ni. You mattered to God
Matthew 10: 2-3 (NIV) - And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Don't ever say God loves everyone. Learn to say God Himself love me. God Himself love me is a powerful truth statement. Matthew 10 verse 2 to 3 attest to that. Do you know the word worth in the verse above is worth before who? You are worth to God more than many sparrows. It is one thing to be worth before Man and another thing to be worth before the God of Heaven and Earth. Don't think God knows the number of your hair because He is omniscience. That verse is put in the context of the danger of being persecuted, that your life may be endangered. Yet God knows. When you pray or commune with God, always pray and commune with the sense that God Himself loves you. He knows everything about you, even your future failures and still loves you. You are valued before God and God loves you. I don't know whom this message is for but I believe this devotion is for you. God Bless. |

Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (NIV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin b for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. |

Unity of the Spirit
Ephesians 4:3 (NIV) - Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Hi fellow believers. These days I no longer believe in forcing or enforcing anyone to agree with me on christian doctrines. If someone does not agree, it's perfectly fine. In fact in the Bible, there is no verse that says, we must be unite in doctrines. (In this thread alone, we have christians from various different denominations with differences in secondary doctrines.) But what the Bible teaches is to be united in the Spirit. What does that mean? Well simply put, have a united spirit among brethrens via bond of peace. Those who are mature in Christ will understand this. It simply means do not quarrel with fellow believers on denominational doctrines. Have the mindset to keep it aside for the sake of unity. 1 Corinthians 1:12 -13 (NIV) - What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul"; another, “I follow Apollos"; another, “I follow Cephas"; still another, “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? Those who insist to follow Peter, Paul or Apollos, will branch out into denominations. Yet the Apostle Paul beseech, ..Is Christ divided? Christ knew there will be denominations differences and prayed in John 17 else He wouldn't need to pray for complete unity. John 17:20-23 (NIV) - 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. We need to be united in spirit. Verse 13 of same Ephesians 4 explains it. Ephesians 4:13 (NIV) - until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. That unity surround Faith in and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We do not compromise on the core doctrine about Christ Jesus. 1. Jesus Christ is the Messiah, The Son of God, He is part of Trinity; God the Father, Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit. 2. Christ has dual nature, He came in the flesh as Man but is also God, borned of virgin birth through earthly mother Mary, lived a sinless life. 3. He died on cross and rose again on 3rd Day for forgiveness and remission of all our sins. 4. We are saved by grace of God through our faith in Christ Jesus for what He did on the cross. 5. The Bible is the inspired word of God. 1 Corinthians 1:10 tells us to be agreeable with one another in what we say and let us be united on the core doctrine about Christ Jesus. God Bless. |

The blood of Jesus Christ cleans us from all sin 24/7
1 John 1:7 (NIV) - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Hi every believers in Christ, much grace to you. This devotion will help you in your walk with The Lord. If you think about it, isn't it redundant to state if one is already walking in the light, the blood of Christ cleanses from all sin? Think about it for a moment. I mean the person is already walking in the light, what sin is there to be cleanse from? Obviously there is nothing to be cleanse from! Not unless this verse is for the imperfect believers (one who is already saved) who understand sin is wrong but because the person isn't perfect may have fallen / reacted according to the flesh. What does walking in the light means? The key to understand this is in the next phrase ..."As he (Christ) is in the light". Christ has no sin. Christ is light and in Him there is no darkness. Likewise consider yourself also in that light. That you have no more sin (cleansed by Christ's blood) and in you is no darkness but light. We are to walk in this revelation. Doing so activates Christ blood cleansing us 24/7 even when we fail or fall. All believers are in journey with God the Father. Even Apostle Paul states .."not that I have already arrive at perfection but I press on.... (Philippians 3:12 ). I submit to you, this promise is for every child of God who are imperfect. All of us are anyway. Anyone who claims to be perfect, deceives himself not living in reality. The very next chapter and verse confirms this. 1 John 2: 1 - 2 (NIV) - My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. You have these 2 promises to keep you intact with God. God does not want you to wallow in self pity or to murmur and complain you are in darkness, not moving on. The Lord wants you to take these 2 promises and continue walking with Him. If you have sinned, you have an advocate with the Father. A divine lawyer who defends you before God the Father. If you have sin, you have the word of God that promises and ask you to walk in the light of Christ where you have been washed, cleansed and redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb! If something that happened is hindering or stifling your spiritual life, take up these 2 promises; 1. 1 John 1:7 (NIV) - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Receive it into your life, and move on with your Abba in Heaven. God Bless. |
