In Exodus 20, God gives Moses the 10 commandments on 2 stone tablets, but Moses smashed them because of the Golden Calf incident.



The 10 commandments :

1. Have no other gods before Yahweh
2. No Idolatry
3.  Take God’s Name in vain
4.  Keep the Sabbath
5. Honour parents
6. No killing
7. No adultery
8. No stealing
9. No bearing false witness
10. No coveting
So, in Exodus 34, Yahweh commands Moses to chisel 2 stone tablets again, so that he could give the 10 commandments once again.

The LORD said to Moses, “Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and [I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke – Exodus 34:1



The ermmm..... 10 commandments :

1. Don't make treaties with the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites  
2. Don't make metal images of gods.
3. Don't fail to observe the Festival of Thin Bread in the month of Abib.[c] Obey me and eat bread without yeast for seven days.
4. The first-born males of your families and of your flocks and herds belong to me.
5. You can save the life of a first-born donkey[d] by sacrificing a lamb; if you don't, you must break the donkey's neck. You must save every first-born son. Bring an offering every time you come to worship.
6. Keep the Sabbath
7. Must worship Yahweh 3 times a year (compulsory)
8. When you sacrifice an animal on the altar, don't offer bread made with yeast. And don't save any part of the Passover meal for the next day.
9. I am the LORD your God, and you must bring the first part of your harvest to the place of worship.
10. Don't boil a young goat in its mother's milk. (very important!  )
