With recent events I decided to write this up..

Gundam is a very complex and elaborate anime, With many storyline and spin off so its very hard to just generalize all of Gundam fans into 1 group.

The Gundam fan base is divided into numerous faction, which don't really get along with each other in general.. So This Guide is for new or old fans on how to not ignite flame wars in forums. And lets see existing fans feels where they belong to

Ucer: Ucer is a term of The Gundam series that belong to the Universal Century Era. Usually Fans of this catergory enjoy the more militaristic element of The Gundam universe. The Fans are consist of mecha and military geeks . Usually this fans likes anime are ms igloo,MSG 0079, 08th Team, 0080 War in Pocket and MS0083 Stardust Memory

Wingers: This faction are fans of Gundam Wing. This are usually fans who enjoy the mecha eyecandy and pretty boys. The fans consist of young kids and girls. This term is consider obselete as the Gundam Wing is pretty forgotten.

Seed Fanboys/Fangirls: This Faction is a evolved version of Wingers. This Faction are fans of the CE(Cosmic Era) or Seed franchise. The fans enjoys the Mecha eye candy,pretty boys and Cel Shaded Graphics(Since the older series graphics isnt really good). The fans consist of mainly girls, anime fans and young adults. Their favorite Gundam series are Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Gundam Seed mangas.

Tomino Elitist: Most of them are branch out from Ucers but unlike Ucers they enjoy the more humanity and fantasy element of Gundam. They also arent limited to Gundam anime as they branch out to other Anime produce by Tomino Yoshiyuki. The fans consist are usually very hardcore Gundam fans. Also they criticize Ucers for loving UC Gundam anime that wasnt made by Tomino. Their favorite anime is Turn A Gundam,MSG, Zeta Gundam, ZZ gundam, and etc ( Thats made by Tomino)

Model Enthusiasts: This people rarely take note of the Gundam Anime.... They just browse for mecha they like and spend all the time making Gunpla models.

I like Wing but I'm way past the young kid stage
No doubt that I like UC especially the complexity of the storyline and characters, but most of the time the endings aren't really my cup of tea as they feel rushed. This is not limited to Tomino's works as most animes that I've watched before have endings which don't satisfy me.

Model enthusiast... haha... I've a friend who's like that... buy chun models without knowing the story or even the pilot.

I have a question regarding Hi-Zack. I read it somewhere saying that Hi-Zack is infact a hybrid mecha between a Zaku and a GM. Is it true?

Yes.. Hizack is a mix of Zeon(AE) and Feddie Technology. So in some ways its a mix of a Zaku and GM.

Actually in "1984" the three major powers of Eurasia, Eastasia and Oceania are in a state of equilibrium (the whole zero-sum/MAD thing) and because of this balance caused by perpetual war there is perpetual peace ("War is Peace"). What Schenberg has done is upset this balance btw the Union, AEU, HRL - sparking new conflict; which is why the Union professor keeps saying that CB are seeking a path of destruction.

Well not exactly GM but since it's manufactured by Earth and AE(mainly Zeonic dudes) it probably uses quite a lot of Earth tech. The only thing that resembles the GM is the torso, and yet it's not a direct copy either. The Hizack, like it's name, is based more on the Zaku than a GM.

"Kingdom Under Heaven" ruled by Celestial Being. Hence the name Celestial Being. "Path of destruction" was regarding CB's using war to conquer war strategy. And CB damn near reached this goal too if not for the meddlings of others.
