Still hard to tell loh... coz most hoglets are born with white quills.... their colour only come out either with their baby quills or later after their first molt of quills.... so need to wait lah. I can see some of the quills got the normal salt and pepper markings, got bands liao....![]() ![]() Here is my coursin's hoglet.. I'm not sure what colour is it. Currently 3weeks old and his quills is white but abit grey and skin colour is black. Can someone help me to determine the colour ? |

Hey guys
Hope everyone had a good CNY I brought demon back to my family house for the week, he and my gramma got along very well. We had steamboat for reunion dinner and she made some for him too. Just some sole fish and chicken meat (unseasoned of course) Unfortunately he wasn't interested so the cats got extra Taking them outdoors onto the grass is fun just be sure to check the area for holes,be sure it isn't too sunny, the smell of pesticide and of course dog poop ( i think i know what dog poop incident your thinking of CooLeRthings your dad got a cute pair of them They look like they are already adult size and a nice color too. I can see some dark banded quills so im guessing they are both chocolates with very heavy snowflaking what are their genders and names? ( im sure your dad already knows that no matter what gender its best to keep them in separate cages but ill be a busybody and point it out again anyways Edits: is that a liquid poop in the last pic?? I had experience with hedgies bought from an owner that fed them whiskas. They were so poor in health and one of them died early and the other is now paralyzed for some reason. When they were only 8 months old you could see unhealthy wrinkly skin and they had a sour stench. They didn't adapt well to Orijen or Innova Evo either.
I don't think you should buy that hedgie, goodness knows how much damage it has done to it on the inside already. This post has been edited by Reanne: Feb 15 2008, 12:29 AM |
