Anyone using Android Auto with their Pixel 7? Curious if it works as I heard of issues since Pixel 6.

I reinstalled network guru and set nr back to auto/default. Uninstalled and rebooted. 5g still works. 😆. I think the network might be updated on the telco end, i can see volte and wifi calling enabled without the mod. I can assure you this never happen when i was on 6 pro. Keep in mind im on 6pro a week after launch last year.
Will update about this once i update to dec build and set from stock settings.

Thanks, will give it a go, though I doubt I can test properly as I am on Maxis, and don't think they have rolled out 5G yet. Still, I don't see the harm in putting in that line.

Network guru will set it permanently i think. If possible try wiping and test it again but then again your call
anyway beware that the telco will know what is your device and will downgrade or worst put the dev in black list of the network. It happen to me unifi mobile got blacklisted and up till now no network

YES it force to LTE but since yes lte is shitty i always have spotty issues

btw my dev is P6 ... just sharing my experience here

Just make sure you don't enable 5G yet as it might consume battery while searching for 5G signal.
If you already put in the line, can you check what's the "NR Available (NSA)" field status in *#*#4636#*#*

In the phone setting of the test menu
U should see NR status TRUE there

I am looking for answer from someone who use the xml hack to enable 5G though, are u using xml hack?

Just checked. Mine says NSA field status as false. Not sure if this means the XML hack isn't working or it's due to me using maxis

im using xml hack for VoLTE and VoWiFi ... but using app mod to get 5G ... will report back when the Dec update is up later i usually do a full wipe

I see, do you use the volte magisk module + network guru to get 5g working or use just use xml hack + network guru?

I wanna try to get 5g working with xml hack only cause only that way can (I think) can unroot.

as of now i use xml hack + network guru this leads to my vowifi sometime work and dont
while last time i use magisk module, vowifi will work without fail

maybe xml hack you can unroot after

Yeah, maxis still no 5g hence maybe it could be affecting the hack? But I ordered a YES 5g sim pack already. Will test when I get it

Does anyone notice this battery usage by the "Messages" app? Almost every one of the 2-hour period column will show the app running 2 hours straight.

It is a noticeable drain on the battery.

I myself not using the app eventhough I have set up the phone (still waiting for a casing to arrive).

I have also declined to set up RCS everytime prompted.

Anyone can advise best reseller to get a Pixel 7 Pro? Seeing too many and getting confused.

Amaboxly worth getting from? Cheapest out there but warranty bit tough as we manage ourselves although they claim can send to SG for US unit.

Not sure about that seller but for peace of mind it is better to choose a good after service one ... but pray hard u wont get a lemon unit too
