I'm just afraid they will abandon 256GB and start with 128GB, then 512GB, 1TB and 2TB.

256GB is the sweet spot for me because I have iCloud of 2TB.

probably the nightmare for many.
if you have iCloud already, then can opt to go with 128, or go straight to 512 if not using icloud service. some can consider that way.

I see my current usage of 256GB 12PM for 3 years, it's around 128GB now. Maybe I can survive with 128GB since I plan to change my phone every 2-3 years.

yes, avoid 128gb at all time as u are limiting the ability of ur pro iphone.

at least get 256gb which you still have the option whether you want to record 4K ProRes video at 30fps or not.

If they still keep the 256GB version.

Then better get 256gb or above

30fps and 60fps are huge difference hence must get 256gb and above

if u buy 128gb, ur iphone is Castrated version.

Apple is smart cause they don’t give 1TB. Straight jump to 2TB on their iCloud.

Ever thought of using onedrive? It was rough initially. Onedrive for photos was in total disarray. However, they finally got their shit done and even support Live photos..

Upload is fine, download has recently improved, streaming has a bit of a lag, certainly not Netflix level but if you combine with family of 6 users it roughly sums up to just rm60 a year per person for 1TB of Onedrive cloud storage that includes all Microsoft Office Apps for Mac as well.

Yes, I have OneDrive from company's Office 365. It is also 1TB but I'm using it for my work stuff only though I can store personal stuff there.

I'm OK with the iCloud though.
