QUOTE(isr25 @ Dec 2 2025, 04:13 PM) Don't have AppleCare. Pay RM485 for a "new phone" experience again - phone battery drain quite bad even if the battery health still relatively normal as the phone is beginning to stutter. The phone can't last a full day use anymore as I would be near empty around 4pm. Yes, I could carry a powerbank or charge while at the office, but will just change to a new battery. May i know the percentage of the battery health before you done the battery replacement? Many of users advised when it reached below 80%, around 75-78% need to replace the battery π¬πππ

So to be frank the percentage is not 100% accurate, once hit this low, it does not drop further despite in real it should have degraded.

If you are ok with your battery - even if need to recharge often or multiple times a day, no problem with stutters or lags, then no need to change. Just bring powerbank lorβ¦ but in my case, planning to change phones next year, so just change the battery now. Or else, not getting my moneys worth for a new battery and the next person enjoy it more lol! TLDR: As long as you are ok with your battery and itβs not getting the pillowy battery syndrome, you do not need to change your battery.

If can, changing battery is still worth it.
