For home PC i using full 75% with Graywood v3
For office pc, same 75% layout alphabet all using graywood v3, other all using MMD Holy Panda (clone)

so...for me linear and tactile both ok ahaha...
that clicky then not, to prevent noise pollute.
ah shoot, lucky i ask before getting it. blink.gif
then i just aim for feker or kailh then.

yes, it's up to you. however i suggest you at least get some to experience them yourself, because just like cherry mx for scratchiness, jwick let you learn about leaf/spring pings, and how to deal with them.

Actually i found another alternative.
Azure Dragon v2, Oil King, Aqua King v3.
Maybe buy 10-20 for test.

oil king is ok. note that aqua king v3 was reported to have stems that got stuck at stock (it's the key switch with the slightest stem wobbles)

aqua king v3 is an example when things are close to extreme, shits will happen.

lol, I just bought some oil king and the azure dragon to try as well... but I just bought 2 each.
I bought around 10 types of tactiles to try, just 2pcs each as well. 10 to 20pcs each gets expensive real quick.

15(middle of 10~20) of these switch pricing up to RM 50-ish. it will really go wild very soon. whistling.gif
but getting few only kinda hard to test..unless you got a board to plug in all these switch to play with. (where i plan to get one...CIY Novice, but malaysia nowhere to be found)

actually you can just look it up. it's not a new switch, so there are more user reports.

later i will check vertex v one to see if it's a better option.

edit: v one is produced by jwick also hehe

vertex i think i read it on bilibili. i don think i able to get it especially local shop only bring something have months or maybe 1 yr from its release.
also the price surely go into roof. OR,
it will be RMB3 per switch and coming in malaysia it became MYR3 or above.

it's fine though. you still have plenty of options to choose from.

i picked jwk/jwick because they make linear switches that fit my preferences. that's why i stick to them most of the times. besides jwick black v1/2 and ultimate black, there are jwick white, red, and yellow. they are all fine imo.

about the pricing of local stock, sellers also need to feed their families. imo as long as the price is fair, it's good.

I'm using linear long poles.
From loud to soft:
Prevail nebula, tecsee carrot (stock)
Oil kings (stock)
Ktt kang white (lubed)

I find these good enough for me.

sweet. i will get nebula also, but later. although i'm fine with long-pole switches, i mainly stick to those with 4mm key travels. it's more satisfying to me hehe

cheaper, louder, very very slightly heavier ---> carrots
smoother---> oil kings
stem wobble I think oil kings but i find no issue with the carrots.

Side note, carrots sounds pretty much the same as nebula. I din bother to switch the carrots for the nebula as was my initial plan. I just put the nebula on a diff board.

If you are trying out switches, try out tecsee ,ktt and ttc too. I think SP Stars are worth a look into too. I have a handful of feker and I do not think they will be better than those 4 brands. Zero experience with MMD.

Latest build.
Wooting 60HE
Resin GH60 case
Cerakeys ceramic keycaps

Yup. Oil kings do not dissapoint. My only thing is that i prefer a louder thock, so i lean towards the carrots. But oil kings, certainly a good switch.

I have like another maybe 90 oil kings if anyone is interested. And lubed kang whites too.

Just receive Shenpo Keycaps, TX springs and some switches to play with it.
So many switches to play with, it will take some time. lolx.

have fun smile.gif

due to the recent long holidays, my stuff is still tagged as 'pending clearance at customs'.

edit: after lubed with home-brewed 204/104 mix, wuque's ws silent linear is relatively better now (for me, i mean). by now, i'm almost convinced that there will be no way to minimize the mushiness of silent switches further.

Thats the thing. I did use the stick tapes to prevent the housing from even slight wobble, it stills tick. I thought it was the wire is not balance, but it is not. Finally I just did the holee mod and it solves it. That goes without saying that lubing the stabs is a must. I just use 205 on the wire and the housing internals like what is normally shown on youtube. lolx.

But that ticking once u notice it, it is very annoying. lol. Initially I did not want to take the stabs out to fix it, but finally gave in as it is just too annoying. lol

But probably it is my plate that is not good since from your experience FL-cmmk stabs do not need any mod. I will keep that in mind.
*
IMO, grease is not needed for stabs that have tight tolerances like C3 Equalz and TX. Still needed for OEM and OG Cherry stabs.

In your opinion, if the priority is just least problems over time, what would be your choice of switch/spring/lube/mods?
