the wheel nut welded already ...how to remove?
the plate easy to bend? look thick ...
thanks

This is not the problem with the roller but the bracket that hold the roller bent slightly. Probably just need to bend it back to original position. The bracket that hold the roller does not looks like stainless steel tome. hmm.gif

From motor to lock normally will be in the gate frame

yes there is, the wire at the bottom, you mean it is broken? But the closing and opening of the lock is still functioning, it is just the timing is out

Thanks for your advise. Done the wiring in stainless steel casing on the floor.
However the adhesive is the double sided tape from the casing, I want to add adhesive to the sides since my car is ramming over and i wash my floor twice a month.
Would silicone glue or epoxy resin is recommended? Or any other adhesive?

If I were you, I'd just replace hack all the tiles the side of the wiring, bury the trunking deeper and put new tiles on it. You probably cannot find same tiles no more but make it all totally new color would probably just make it look more artistic biggrin.gif

If budget not allowed, then just one line of tiles to make it look like border.

There are boards that just sense the current surge on the motor as detection that the gate has hits its limit to shut down the motor instead of using timing to as when to stop the motor when opening and closing.

Not the wire broken. Sometime the wire ware off a bit and power from motor cannot flow nicely so the lock will keep on up and down until reach the end when motor stop no more power flow trough then it drop down permanently to lock position. The center lock seldom spoil 1 out of 100

If welded then hv to use grinder to remote the welded part and use clamp to hold the plate to bend it.
*
if after grind off the welded ..screw can remove...after plate bend to good position ..fix back the roller and screw without weld ok ?after some times screw will loosen?

QUOTE(Zot @ Nov 6 2023, 09:16 AM)
While the roller it self should not be that expensive I believe but I remember one technician said probably around RM100. Opps... looking back at the picture, this is different type. The one I mentioned was roller that comes with bracket assembly. So, must be cheaper.
*
changing 1set roller with plate cost RM280 for my place ..

Use one pair of near wire connect from motor direct to lock. First must dismantle lock and remove old wire then only connect new wire from lock to motor. Then try open and close to check lock able to maintain unlock when motor is running. If once motor stop and lock drop down then everything shld be ok just replace old wire with new wire. Just attach new wire old wire then pull slowly from one end to the other end. Connect back new wire one end to lock and the other to motor. Then try open close that's it

Today I notice the wires look dented, could be broken. Can it be stiched together using black tape instead?

If still in working condition just joint it back and black tape. Then try open close and if the lock perfectly then just continue using it.

Could someone pls suggest a brand or company that offers a complete set for an automatic gate, including both the gate and the motor? I'm new to this field and seeking recommendations.
I prefer the functionality could migrate with, IR, switch panel, Wifi , HomeAssistance etc.

Just remove the holding on the left hand side gate by unscrew it out.
