Which type & brand of amoured cable is good?
And what is the current price for each meter?
I know it depends on how many core also but wanted to know the pricing.

Hi all, my autogate system is still using underground. One side of the door fails to open/opens very slowly but stop midway. Probably the motor is old and need to be replaced. Another side works fine as the motor was changed last year, I don't hv the contact as it was called by another person and not reachable.
I contacted another autogate person hoping to replace the motor but he suggested me to change to the arm type, model DFT X3, just realise this model does not have key release. Price around 1.5k...is it reasonable? The one with key is more pricey. I'm still looking around...
If there's a suggested model, can I know what's the total cost including installation and dismantling the old system?
Want to ask if people can force open these arm type models from the outside??
I am a newbie to this, hoping to get some guidance here...thanks

*For now when my gate cannot open/close properly, we just push it manually. It will do no harm right?

Asking question to all experienced people here.
Wanted to install folding autogate
Do you all recommend folding trackless aluminium?
Cos those with track stainless steel gate are so much cheaper.
Any advises?

If compare full aluminum trackless with track SS
of cause big different.
B4 compare u must add the trackless kit and autogate cost
Trackless kit RM1,880-2K and Autogate System RM1,180-1680/= depend brand.
If trackless full aluminium 18ft about RM12K
SS track 18 ft about RM6-7K + tackless kit RM2K and autogate RM1,580/= total about RM11K
So after compare properly it's about RM1K only. But advantage different trackless easy adjustment when gate drop or misalign, no need to maintain wheel problem, water and rubbish stack at track, gate derail or jam.

So when ppl dun compare properly of cause big different. Sometime when u go for ready make type price might be cheaper a bit.

I just had my dcmoto Autogate installed and found out that the remote control and the wireless keypad itself is not that responsive. We need to press harder to confirm the action. If we just press is lightly, the light blink once and no action is happened. Is it normal?

DC Moto remote is running frequency so u hv to press a bit long for the board to receive the right signal, normally 2 second will do. Anyway their new remote is a bit troublesome now days after using for some time hv to knock a bit to get it working. The battery joint seem to be not connect properly, hmmmmm. Anyway their motor system are reliable. But now mostly ppl will go for Dnor Turbo 880 much easier to link to third party module.

Another way to know the board receive command or not is to activate the alert. The system will beep whenever the board receive command signal when alert is activated.

Thank you very much for your reply dblcss, I thought it was somehow broken in the beginning. You really made my day dlbcss.

Yes currently I turned on the beep alert sound so I know whether they key is registered or not.

There is one more thing whenever my Autogate is closing towards the end, it squeaked hard like over tightening nut sound. Wondering how do I solve it?

Would it be because my installer seemed like 1.5cm off from the reference pillar. By right should be 64.5cm but I measure seemed like only 63cm

Ha Ha Ha just adjust the stopper at the bottom of the motor.
It's better to get installer who can provide full instruction on how to use and DIY trouble shoot minor problem. DC Moto 925W and Dnor Turbo 880 hv more feature which must be explain properly after installation. This model are not like those normal arm model which open one or two side then close that's it. For us we will need to spent at less another 30 mins to explain on how to use the system.

That's why a lot prefer cheaper installer then those who able to provide proper installation and explanation after full installation.

I’m sorry as I being cheapskate and eventually my neighbour helped me to install it.

The thing I realised is the panel is not align to 64.5cm as guided in the instruction, so wondering whether it’s the reason why I can’t use the knob below the motor to adjust the opening of gate, currently I using the floor rubber stopper to control the closing and the gate opening will stop when it hit my pillar instead of the knob below the motor.

So I’m thinking is it need to dismantle the c section thing and make sure it’s 64.5cm? Thanks a lot for your help once again. Really appreciate

Since hv rubber stopper then no need to worry when closing. For open turn cylinder stopper facing out side all the way to the end then push the gate until where u want it to stop opening and turn the cylinder stopper to touch the corner of the arm end so it will prevent the arm from moving anymore. After doing it for both side just press remote to open close the gate. That's how u control where the gate stop when opening and not until it hit the pillar like those under grd old system. If u dun adjust it now and let it keep pushing on the pillar end of the day u hv a broken gear bottom part soon.

Actually all the instruction is in the white pc of installation paper.

Normal 2 button can.

I found out that my installer put all the long nut on one side and another motor all short Nut causes the stopper cylinder is not long enough.

If that’s the case, need to dismantle everything to transfer the two long Nut from left side motor to right side motor?
