I did made complaint earlier this year about supporting of 4K also on VIDAA. Not sure how the Disney app run on VIDAA, seem like not actual app? As no option to update, unlike the app in Google TV.

I had a google tv with chromecast, but seem it unable to detect dolby vision n atmos capability on my U7K, as the eARC on TV is connected to my soundbar.

I think we have to wait further for new enhancement of the Disney app on VIDAA.

Not all Android box can play DV. Google TV With Chromecast can't do DV, according to Reddit users. May want to get the new Google TV Streamer.

NVidia Shield/Pro doesn't do HDR10+ but will do DV.

but this time the design of the tv itself is same as per the US. Probably can check the model number of malaysia see is exact same or not.

hi guys..My 3 year old hisense 58A6100G having display issue.. Luckily still had 1 year senheng warranty left.. Will be getting cash voucher RM2.1k (bought TV for RM2399 in 2021). Thinking of getting the Hisense 65a6500k with 3 years manufacturer warranty for RM1900++. Seems like value buy for the buck. Any reviews / comments to share guys? 😃😃

Hey bro...i just purchased 6500K.. Cn i check if your Hdmi arc is working with your sound system? My TV showing ARC option greyed out... Old TV was hisense as well working fine via hdmi arc. The installer told me my 10 year plus old home theatre is not supported by my new TV. Suggested me to use optical audio cable instead of hdmi arc.

Yup, ARC is working. It does take awhile to initiate connection on my soundbar. I had the same issue as you when setting up sound bar first time. Installer said to put optical cable. I told him to leave it.
Managed to get it working by rebooting the tv.

I'm looking for a 55" TV, mainly for streaming and playing switch occasionally , I got a chromecast 4k dongle.

Harvey Norman is now selling U6k pro @rm2600 and u7k @rm3600.

Would like an opinion of whether the u7k is worth the rm900 difference.

Or other recommendation at budget <rm3500?

Sony X85L or X90L from online stores during sales. You could even grab the 65" instead if got high value vouchers.

Online stores as in Lazada / Shopee ya? I'm reluctant to use them as I live in Sabah I'm scared of how transporter handle big item like this.

I think U7K is mini-LED. U6K is not. Hisense calls it FALD (full array local dimming) Unsure what is U6K Pro.

Harvey Norman seems expensive for 55". I got the 75" U6K for RM3735 from Lazada shipped from Penang to Kajang using J&T Cargo. I was worried too but it arrived intact. Yeah, EM is a different proposition altogether.


Here's a review of the U6K ZA version which seems to corresponds to what I bought. Have to ignore all the nice US reviews of the U6K.

I think the main difference between U6k and pro is the os, pro is using Google tv.

There's a local shop selling u6k pro 65" @ rm2999. Would have got it if my cabinet was bigger 😩

Get rid of the cabinet. The bigger screen has a bigger impact.

FALD and quantum dot are good features to have. It brings out HDR content better.

120 Hz panels are also good to have, but I don't think U6K has it. It can help with judder for 24 fps. 25 fps and 30 fps content. But if that's your budget, then that's your TV.

ad says free delivery within KL but I don't stay in KL. example in Putrajaya region. shopee shows RM0 delivery. do I get free delivery or not?
