Guys I just received my hisense U7K bought through Lazada. Watching fast moving scenes are a bit choppy (image tearing is it?). its driving me crazy.
for example watching football highlights in youtube, when players running the legs appears boxy, but that doesn’t happen in LIVE football on astro, but football replays on astro is also choppy, I’m confused. watching movies on astro also same. all settings are still standard except for brightness which I’ve brought down to 40 (standard 50) bcs its too bright.
anyone else experienced the same issue? any setting tips?
just fyi, I use 5G umobile internet with nokia fastmile 3 modem, does this affect the picture quality? appreciate your help/tips. TIA

Is anyone using disney+ hotstar in u7k?

I noticed now it can up to 4k resolution, but seem it broke the sound, cannot get dolby atmos on my soundbar.

Weird.  I saw someone mentioned Hisense Vidaa Tv can get 4k from Disney+ hotstar, so I resubscribed its premium again, but I only got full HD (1080P) from movie quality yesterday.

But then I check the movie quality from Disney+ hotstar this evening again, I surprised to see 4K is available now.

Mine is U7G model.

I looked at Agatha All Along and Ms Marvel. Both should be on 4K Dolby Vision and Atmos.

The trouble with Disney+ Hotstar is that content PQ and AQ changes. They are not set permanently like Netflix, Apple TV+ and Prime Video. What's weird is that all of the content on DH is owned by them; they do not license any outside content.

Are you able to get Atmos soundtrack? My U7K only got the stereo soundtrack.

I don't have an Atmos system.

On the Disney+ Hotstar app (Android of VIDAA), play any content. While the content is playing, press Up to go to content settings Video or Audio. Long press ENTER for 3 seconds then let go. Debug mode is on. From there, you can see the metadata of the content. If the audio is in stereo, it'll show M4A. If the audio is in 5.1 or Atmos, it'll show EAC-3.

For video, it'll show if the content is in 480p, 1080p or 2160p.

I remembered last time in Google TV, it will show what  soundtrack available when you try to change the settings. Now in VIDAA Hotstar app, I only can see Original option, but soundbar only have stereo sound.

On D+H, some content will have only stereo. Sometimes 5.1 and sometimes Atmos. Sometimes they'll have other languages in stereo and 5.1.

That's why I asked you what content you're watching.

Gonna try again this weekend at my father's house.

It seems like a trickled down version but over the weekend, I did get content to be displayed in 4K on D+H VIDAA version. But all content are only in stereo. One step forward, two steps back.
