Are you asking on the sony tv? Mid range it cost 3k plus for the Sony tv. Simple google search will bring you tons of people who experience the same thing, and since I’m out of warranty, repairs cost a lot .
I wanted to buy the x85 actually with the reviews of forumers here but decided otherwise cause of this experience.
Onking 11.11 sales. Too bad they didn't include x90k in their sales.
I also bought a Hisense TV from them 2 years ago. Sometimes when they do online sales, it's really cheap without the need to grab voucher or bonus like on Lazada. Just bought a fridge from them on 11.11 as well.
What I like about them is they don't charge any shipping or installation fees. Their staffs are also good attitude. Now I always check and compare with onking whenever I want to buy appliances. Even though ppl kept telling me desa home is good (less than 1km away as well), I'm just too lazy to haggle price with them. I did though bought a X90J from them last 12.12 on lazada because it's really cheap after bonus and voucher.
HI GUYS, i am considering U7H or Toshiba Z770KP. Asked the official Hisense Malaysia FB isit VA or IPS Panel they reply me with VA but i asked Harvey Norman and some shop on Shopee they reply me with IPS. Not sure who to trust because the U7H MY version is different from the China and US. Very confusing now even google also cant find any information. Then another problem is the Toshiba Z770KP not sure if it has MEMC, didn't stated on any Shopee shop or even the official website. Asked Shopee and FB Official Toshiba TV they reply me with yes. Freaking confusing and headche with this two, Z7770 would definitely be more pros but just only the MEMC was making me to think of buying which TV.
Toshiba TV is also under Hisense right? Hisense has traditionally only support MEMC on 65" and above.
Actually MEMC is not as good as you might think. I have a 65" Hisense A7400F which support MEMC and at first I thought my GPU having problem when I kept getting artifact when playing anime. Those natural movement like hair being blown by wind kept giving me black frame. So mad that I swapped out GPU etc and still getting the same thing. That was until I google and found out that it was the BFI (black frame insertion) aka MEMC which caused this problem. Turning it to 0 solved everything. For me, it is a hit or miss thing. Some video works better with it, and some works better without it. Even on my more expensive Sony X90J, it is basically the same problem. Whenever I get really bad BFI (black box every now and then), I would just turn it off.
My hisense u7g got problem random shutdown after using for nearly 2 years. Luckily the shop said i still in warranty. They will contact hisense for me.
good to know but i wonder why online shop don't have extended warranty
Not sure but Hisense 3 years warranty when you purchase from shop is already pretty good. Therefore dont buy from Lazada Hisense if you prefer 3years over 2 years warranty.
As for the prices of the individual TVs, the brand’s official store on Shopee lists the 55-inch Hisense Mini LED 4K U7K as priced at RM6,999. As for the 65- and 75-inch models, these are priced at RM7,999 and RM9,999, respectively. No price is listed for the 85-inch model though, as stocks for that particular model is not available on the e-commerce site.
Thanks. Still waiting for Hisense to contact me. They already take the tv. The technician told me that maybe I will get a replacement unit since no spare part in stock to repair the tv.

Same like my case - My old A6500F (AndroidTV) also buat hal after nearly 2 years..lucky i buy in-store, get 2+1 year warranty from Hisense.. But mine due to faulty LCD panel (got 1 small, thin line , near the top of panel).
They say no parts anymore as mine was older 2020 model, so they replace with new TV (GoogleTV, 2022 model)..
Wei... so easy spoilt meh? Dont scare me... A7400F 3 years and 1 month old.
They replace my broken u7g with u6k. They said its a newer model. Don't have time to test yet but is this model as good as my previous u7g tv?
From my untrained eyes, the tv image is same. The only difference is that the u7g have 4 hdmi port, but u6k only 3 hdmi ports. And also some setting is different.
So they replaced it with a brand new mini led tv? Wow... lucky leh
My bad... it seems like U6K not mini led... U7K baru mini led.
Update: Strange that most of the Google result shown U6K as mini led tv but hisense my didnt show any such info. Saw a youtube video differentiate U6K (200+ zones), U7K (500+ zones) and U8K (1000+ zones). Is MY U6K different to US model again? Oh... found a different... check if your u6k has 4k120hz. It seems like U6K dont support 4k120hz. U7G has 4k120hz support iirc.

Malaysia u7g also don't have 4k120hz, only 60hz. Malaysia hisense tv is different compare to the US version. For malaysia version, i think u7h, u7k, u900kf have the 4k120hz.
Hmmm... yeah, not sure why they have different specs for same model number.
Is it brighter than u7g? Is the blooming better now?
Guys I just received my hisense U7K bought through Lazada. Watching fast moving scenes are a bit choppy (image tearing is it?). its driving me crazy. for example watching football highlights in youtube, when players running the legs appears boxy, but that doesn’t happen in LIVE football on astro, but football replays on astro is also choppy, I’m confused. watching movies on astro also same. all settings are still standard except for brightness which I’ve brought down to 40 (standard 50) bcs its too bright. anyone else experienced the same issue? any setting tips? just fyi, I use 5G umobile internet with nokia fastmile 3 modem, does this affect the picture quality? appreciate your help/tips. TIA
Disable the MEMC then...
Certain low frame content best to disable motion enhancement especially japanese anime... you will get black boxes. Motion>Custom>Set both blur and judder to 0. At first I thought it is my old GPU HD4850 problematic but later found out this MEMC is not really that good for low frame rate content.
Guys.. I bought the 65" Q6N lately, i noticed around the edge of the screen there is a lot of backlight bleeding all around the screen when I switch it on. Can any Q6N user comment?
I think it is quite normal for low priced TV. I have a Hisense A7400F as well. Backlight bleeding when viewing a totally blank screen like just turning on the TV is not as uncommon as you think. Just that it sucks if you buy a higher tier tv and get the worse lottery panel.
However for the price of the Q6N, I think it is just a matter of how bad it is.
Had to agree, the 1st unit was worst. Black screen become grey screen. The replacement unit slightly better. Im wandering, other TV brands like samsung, LG with the price range of 3-4k, does it have the same problem? I just hope this Q6N can last me 2-3 years.
Well, Chinese TV are cheap for a reason, they use lower tier panels.
Samsung and Sony are 2 well known brands but I would say their lower end model would still be affected somewhat. Say they buy a certain amount of panels from TCL (note that Samsung sold their LCD production factories and gave away all the IPs for VA panel to TCL not too long ago), not all of them will be perfect. The better ones will go towards higher end model while unsatisfactory one will be used for lower end model.
Personally I think unless you are talking higher end model like Q or QN series for Samsung, X85/90/95 series (Sony change their branding to simpler Bravia 2/3/5/7 etc which Im not familiar), chances are you will receive lower tier panels with worse backlight leakage. You would also notice slight difference in brightness across the screen when viewing white background for example.
That pretty much sums up my doubt, generally higher end models get better panels is correct. But how do you rate panasonic? I have a 4-5 year old panasonic tv still working well.
Panasonic TV are kinda bad for the past few years. Not sure what they are like now.
