Chelsea are monitoring the situation. €65M already agreed, €20M add on still discussing plus FDJ personal terms not yet finalised

Can you blame him? But that’ll be 510k off the wages per week.

tbh honest CR7 leaving will solve a lot of problems for us ....

and we shouldnt have signed him ...

p/s: I'm not gonna deny that he contributed alot last season but he also threw the squad/formation balance off right away ...

I doubt its real but come on man ...we talk as if its our own money, we already free up 1 mil a week with all the free transfers out, and now we want to let the biggest commercial name in the game as well as a club icon and arguably the best player from last season to go AND you're ok with it? I rather we overpay for players rather than it going out to the Glazers.

Probably because he knows that Maguire will keep the armband and United cant match his ambitions..

Hope keep it real and tell all if he leaves..

But the best lol of the day, United fans worrying about money spent on wages.. Glazers must be lovin it

lol. mate. you're a joke. you cant compete with people and you blame everyone but yourself.

Ronaldo 1st came in was nothing but he work hard.

You're just like Maguire , Pogba toxic parasite of the club.

What’s wrong with you? Name calling me for just stating my opinion?

It’s widely known we sign Ronaldo not to improve our squad but to prevent City from signing him

Then Ole or the team has to accommodate to his playstyle (although it may not suitable to the team).

You play him then ppl gonna question his work rate despite the goals he bring (cue City and Liv for the modern pressing game)

If you don’t play him then manager will be bombarded by the media

A world class square peg (Ronaldo in this case) may not be the best answer for ppl who has round holes.

Fans who don’t acknowledge bout this issue is no better than fans who speak out since you’re just allowing the “rot” to continue with all questionable decisions

Barca President is extremely selfish and respecting no one.

He is basically disrespecting 2 clubs that are doing business with them, and both players involved as well.

FDJ deal is almost done, but he is denying.
Stating he want to stay.
In the end, when FDJ come, it will certainly bring bad image.

Rapinha deal is extremely far from being done.
Leeds even already claimed they only accept Chelsea offers for now, but he still claims the player himself wanna go Barca.
In the end, if the player go to Chelsea, will bring bag image as well.

For me, he is another Raiola.
Sorry but not sorry.

Asking players to reduce wages, not paying some more.
Respecting no one, say whatever he wanna say just for own benefits.
I have respect toward Barca in Messi, Xavi, Iniesta era.
Not now, certainly not.

With this president, I think they are on the road from being one of the most respected club, to one of the most hated club in no time.

I dont even know where or how to start judging how delusional you're.

But let's just say you're right.

My bad for calling you toxic.

Hail to Glazer, for the past 6 years Glazer took $134 MILLION POUND and the debt remains around $500 MILLION POUND

Well Done Glazer, FDJ might not come to United, Ronaldo wanted to leave. This is getting ridiculous

Ole is not setting the team to accommodate Ronaldo, the team is shit from the beginning. No top striker is able to play with this team not even Lewandowski, Haaland on that shit team

Counterattack with 6 players at the back to cover The Maguire of Fridge slow pace and hoping Ronaldo to do magic week in and week out.

No ball deliver to him, he needs to go way back at defender in order to collect the ball up front

Those Mc Fred are clueless getting play week in and week out while the decent player like VDB is on the bench for almost a whole season

If want to talk about 2nd place of Ole, liverpool no Van Dijk for almost a whole season and Spurs with an injury crisis, Chelsea is under Lampard and United at that time no injury crisis.

Half true, bcoz towards end of the 2020/2021 season, opponents started to find out United tactics (counter and hope for player magic moments?)

If you're talking about pressing, CR press more than Rashford. Real or Benzema did not press that hard but they won league and CL.

Ole just get lucky 2nd due to Tottenham/Chelsea/Liverpool/Arsenal have issues (injuries/manager changes). After VAR and rules change, Bruno become more average and keep on whining/losing balls.

All I know is we have a top dog transfer negotiator / director of football that has been working 6-10 (we could have heard wrongly, it maybe only 4 hours per day), 16 hours a day sign ETH’s by now magical and mythical transfer list. By this we have managed to spend a stupendous €15M!

The entire French league is quaking at our ability to hijack deals, provided it is cheap enough in the first place. Everyone and anyone cannot make a transfer bid without MUFC adding €1 and topping them.

So eventually, we will have won the league by spending soo little, going the way of Leicester rather than Liverpool or MC (shame on them for spending, shame on SAF for spending to win).

All we have to do now is wait 2 seasons for Barca’s deluded president to decide / remember / conclude that they actually want to sell a critical player we may or may not need, for a price they for sure do not apparently need, who says that he was already playing for his boyhood dream team and never intended to leave at the first place.

If you guys think CR7 is wrong to attempt to force us into transfer activity, remember that when he came back he found even the swimming pool of The biggest team on earth to be worst than when he left 10+ years ago. Only by threatening and complaining that they eventually raised some funds (maybe crowd sourced) to fix it so that he can get back to maintaining his fitness, so that he actually scored 28 goals….

If we didn’t have Cristiano last year we would’ve been stuck in bottom 10. Not that it mattered but whole season I only remember his solo goals and screamers as sweet memories. Don’t ever bash the real GOAT.

Not sure if you're referring to me (since I nvr bash CR7 for wanting to leave, merely stating that if he leaves it solves some existing problems/dilemma for the team) but here's my additional comment:

a world class player can be a bad signing ... if it disrupt the team's balance or doesn't really fit into a manager's philosophy or gameplay

Reports said that Ole nvr wanted to sign CR7 and it was the management/Woodward/SAF who bought him because they cant bear to see CR7 signed for the noisy neighbour.

Also, in the past I've always called out many times regarding Ole's capability (especially after the Europa Final).

Besides, RR also said that he has to tweaked the formation to accommodate Ronaldo since Ronaldo doesn't want play alone on top.

My stand is ... if he stays, good for the team since he is a serial winner + high standard with strong mentality and hunger (will be good role model for the youngster and new signings)

but if he wanna leave, let him go because:-

1) his heart is no longer here (and keeping unhappy player of his status can disrupt the dressing room harmony)

2) he is already old and we should really play with younger players for the future with rebuilding in mind

3) it can potentially gives more flexibility for the manager in tactics (again like I mentioned in my previous post that media gonna have a fun day questioning the manager if Ronaldo is dropped or substituted with excessive scrutiny)

4) frees up the wages

Club is always bigger than a player ... and I don't pretend that signing Ronaldo last season is all good without any disadvantages/flaws in bigger picture

It is fine and fair to debate, but think 3x, last season if we didn’t sign CR7, we would’ve have been playing with Masial and waiting for Cavani’s shadow to appear. Confirm we will be knee deep.
