Just sent in my 5V to replace mid frame and fix hairline crack on screen (likely screen replacement is needed?), got quoted for just ~RM350-ish. Was expecting 1K+, but double checked with them it is indeed this cheap. hmm.gif

unsure.gif I was surprised and had double confirm with them. That makes me wonder if 5V's screen not OGS as you can see there is air gap (screen appears to be grey-ish) under bright light, so only the glass on top needs to be replaced.

it is great to know then.. if it is repairable then really good.. probably doesnt chaneg digitalizer of screen/touchscreen.. so much cheaper..

too bad, earbuds they dont replace battery.. so i would just repalce earbuds battery by myself in future.. so far my WF-XM4 earbuds still can sustain few hours but definitely not 8 hours as new.. they provide me a soluton where upgrade to WF-XM5 with price RM799.. else replace 1 side of earbud is around RM250˜299..

don't remind me of that. My 5 mk II is basically useless now. Not sure if I should sell it off for spare parts

i have tried out Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro at retail store and compared with Xperia.. i think camera performance wise, quite similar.. Xperia really lose in term of telephotos at indoor..

user experience wise, Xiaomi & VIVO give better preview with HDR support, brighter screen.. Xperia telephotos zoom quite shaky as compared to others..

i felt Xiaomi 14 ultra is better than Vivo X100 Pro.. maybe white balance is warmer.. vivo white balance close to Xperia.. however, no big significant if didnt zoom into details.. all three are good to use in social media without issue..

vivo do have AI processing to sharpen the wording, but it looks weird based on what i tried.. xiaomi 14 ultra is more natural and smooth.. xperia need to adjust white balance & brightness, auto mode quite not match to them.. but xperia do not have fake artificial smooth out results but came with noise..

Wondering could it be due to I've used Shizuku and pixel ims to enable vowifi.

your vowifi shouldnt have impact to DRM.. but if u did root your phone or unlock bootloader, DRM most likely gone forever..

i've checked my Xperia 1 IV (4th gen).. it also showing as L1 with HDR 10- HEVC capabilities.. 1 VI not in HDR supported list yet.. however, i tried watch John wicked those movie, looks good.. so doesnt bother me much..

however L1 vs L3.. L3 seem only support up to SD quality.. so big impact on viewing quality. try to clear cache & data and check again..

I only uninstall and reinstall the app thinking that would fix it. Also restarted the phone.
But you are right, next time will try removing cache and data too.

Haha you wanna buy mine with discount? It remained unused.

By the way I am surprised that they still do the bundle, provided it's earphone bundle which actually I quite like.
