the only risk is that local sony team do not support HK set.. they dont ever offer repair service too.. other than that, only few pre-installed apps are different in HK variant.. firmware wise i believe are same across TW,HK,SEA.. 5G are supported as far as i knew...

true 5.8k~5.9k official RRP for local MY set currently.. earlier with bundled gifts like earbud XM5 which is cost about the same like HK price except different storage configuration only..

not really.. i saw someone shared before in Sony Xperia Malaysia FB, HK set no issue in Msia..

Bought 1 V with 512GB storage at 4.3k a real bargain I would say Let's hope I get a decent unit..
btw the absent of Vapor chamber is a bit disappointing although thermal were way better compared to IV

but i believed they did put info volte NOT supported on their ads.

Currently which device you're using? You got voLTE? Which telco?

no volte then u cant use data while on normal call.

4G signal will drop to 2G.

example u sending video via whatsapp/telegram then got normal call such as from 03, then the video wont be uploaded, will resume after call finished and get 4G signal back.

just checked with my frend, same XQ-BQ72 and build number also same, just diff at the back mine got "A".

MY set: 61.2.A.0.472A
HK set: 61.2.A.0.472

not sure if that preventing HK set to have volte in MY

Can 1V owner check if your device is Google play certified? Mine is not, though I am quite sure it was definitely certified when I first got it. Original Malaysia set. Problem being not certified - some apps are no longer compatible so I could not download/install them from playstore.

How to check?

go to google playstore > select your profile > setting > About > at bottom is about play protect certification..

i guess above user can just update play store version will do..

Did that, both play store update and Google play system update. But still being shown as not certified.
Therefore interested to find out if this is an odd case or more wide spread.
Also did a factory reset just to double check, problem remains..

Did you root your phone or did anything before that?
