still waiting for my car. SA says queue number is 40.
anyone wrap their car in different color?
does wrapping void warranty?

QUOTE(kelvin @ Aug 17 2022, 10:30 AM) My SA said my queue is 2x since mid of Jul. Until now no allocation also. Don't trust them too much. Man, my friend ordered 1 week later than me, almost end of FREE SST.And he already got the car 2 weeks ago... he ordered from a salesgirl who is not even from Honda. Make me feel like almost wanted to cancel. @ matrix88 I dont know man, my first time trying to wrap, so just asking, gonna wrap it Khaki sand which is not available color in msia... but according to SA, the service center can blame on anything when there is warranty claim/issue, so, it depends on luck. Msia color variant are so boring~ |

QUOTE(DirectorLee @ Aug 17 2022, 01:59 PM) Man, my friend ordered 1 week later than me, almost end of FREE SST. Unfortunately you’re not the only one seeing this. This issue is rampant all over the country. No one is able to figure out how Honda’s allocation system works. And he already got the car 2 weeks ago... he ordered from a salesgirl who is not even from Honda. Make me feel like almost wanted to cancel. So you’re saying your friend booked via a broker? No traffic jams bro. The trick is to not idle your car engine. I never warm up/warm down by leaving the car on idle, and very seldom kena medium/heavy traffic.I saw some people post in the fb group, their oil change reminder is around 4.5k only. Haha The longer you let your car on idle, the worst your engine oil life will become. So 10k periodic service this weekend?mine currently overdue by 600 km... but should be within the 1k allowable limit during the service 2 days later. we'll see. lol. Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 18 2022, 10:24 AM) No traffic jams bro. just in case/pointing out, traffic jams, any duration sitting in traffic not moving = lol oil life counter. The longer you let your car on idle, the worst your engine oil life will become. Ya, was really surprised to see this figure pop up, but still a welcome one to be sure. 1k overdue still acceptable, yes. So 10k periodic service this weekend? but, in this case for your wife's HRV and my wife's Civic, matter of 5k/10k difference (ignoring the few k variances from the actual monitoring) on the first actual oil change service. did they determine the HRV engine is more robust? or did they detune the HRV a little bit compared to Civic? or did they improved their oil so that the interval can be longer to 10k instead of 5k for first oil change? or just shitty technician being inconsistent on the reminder reset/setting? lol. yeah it is within 1k overdue (currently 6k km) and yes 10k km/6 months this weekend actually 28 Aug, but we got plans that weekend so decided to do a week ahead, + that overdue reminder is annoying lol i am thinking to service CVT sooner at 20k km next service, but we'll see. to discuss with minister lol |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 18 2022, 11:03 AM) just in case/pointing out, traffic jams, any duration sitting in traffic not moving = lol oil life counter. Oil change has always been 10k/6 months OR maintenance minder balance, whichever is sooner. Not sure why my wife’s HR-V maintenance minder popped up with 12,500km from 1,284km on the odo (it first showed - - - - - for the first 1,283km), normally it would show up to 10k when combined, or just a bit more. Not sure if they changed the calculation method, or it was just the way my wife drove / her daily route.but, in this case for your wife's HRV and my wife's Civic, matter of 5k/10k difference (ignoring the few k variances from the actual monitoring) on the first actual oil change service. did they determine the HRV engine is more robust? or did they detune the HRV a little bit compared to Civic? or did they improved their oil so that the interval can be longer to 10k instead of 5k for first oil change? or just shitty technician being inconsistent on the reminder reset/setting? lol. yeah it is within 1k overdue (currently 6k km) and yes 10k km/6 months this weekend actually 28 Aug, but we got plans that weekend so decided to do a week ahead, + that overdue reminder is annoying lol i am thinking to service CVT sooner at 20k km next service, but we'll see. to discuss with minister lol We both encounter little to no traffic daily. My daily work drive is roughly 13km & 15 minutes in total and hers is roughly 43km @ 40 minutes in total. As I mentioned on other threads (Civic 10, Civic FE), on the FC, I could only get up to 100km extra for the Engine Oil Life (5.5 years ownership experience). The FE so far I could get 700km extra (7 months ownership experience). This is the first time I see anywhere (forum boards, FB group etc), that anyone could get close to 3,800km extra So far, people have been posting they encounter terrible engine oil life of course. QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 18 2022, 11:27 AM) Oil change has always been 10k/6 months OR maintenance minder balance, whichever is sooner. yeah that's what i meant, typically it is 10k/6 months whichever first and then reduction or addition, minor variances depending on the oil life monitoring. which we have deduced that it is basically engine run time x km (maybe even calendar date or time included) calculation(s).Not sure if they changed the calculation method, or it was just the way my wife drove / her daily route. As I mentioned on other threads (Civic 10, Civic FE), on the FC, I could only get up to 100km extra for the Engine Oil Life (5.5 years ownership experience). QUOTE(hus2020 @ Aug 16 2022, 12:06 AM) FC on the Hybrid RS model is insane. This is my last 3 days driving after fueling on Saturday (refer attachment). hmm, my current jazz hybrid have identical FC, 22 to 24 km/l 50% 50%, full highway can go to 26km/l , seem not much different on the new e:HEV technology. This has been mostly driving in city with mixed - straight drive and stop and go traffic. With these numbers, 800km per full tank is easily achievable. One thing I have changed in my driving habit is to cut off ACC when the leading car departures at faster speed. I accelerate gradually to allow the car to pick up speed smoothly and not too harsh. I wonder driving continuously on the highway like Plus would get me better or lower FC. |

Ah ok that explains it.Thus, 12,500km + 1,284km - 10,000km = 3,784km extra. But the extra probably doesn't matter since you're doing the periodic maintenance anyways. Otherwise need to go extra times one for periodic one for the oil life isr25 liked this post
