You should be correct as the price before the exemption started is around 5k different. I wonder why they put 100% exemption for ckd cars and 50% for cbu but doesn’t really reflect on the selling price.

I doubt those booked the HRV before 30th June will get SST exemption unless Honda decides to launch it before end of June.

RM120k with SST for 1.5NA from Honda City for base model....

That's a lot of over confidence in the brand and form factor compared to X50 Flagship as well as Civic and City and Corolla Cross.

Wont get SST exemption for new HRV, that's why Honda hasn't announce the price and launch date. Based model will be at 124k and RS should be at 144k-148k range I guess.

The question is will you pay RM20k more for ADAS...but much lower engine performance.

I think I will rather go for Civic or just top up a little bit and get a Corolla cross. Then the size much easier to justify.

Still doubtful that SST exemption applies to HRV, I think they are clarifying with the Govt. If confirmed get, we gonna see huge influx of booking for HRV.

Yeap been seeing many SAs in Facebook trying to spread fake info claiming that HRV is eligible for SST exemption.

During the preview, Maxcom Honda Bangsar SA told me RS hybrid version selling RM135k. While V spec selling RM128k.

Hopefully thats true which is cheaper than what was estimated. The RS was initially estimated to be 140k.

My long term SA ( always purchase Honda car from him) told me officially memo out from HONDA Malaysia it’s tax exempted.

So if book now, assume long waiting till next year, we get 2022 or 2023 made?
