Spice 250 ER - more than 150km in range with a warhead -249 lb approaching the warhead size of a nsm missile. It has a small turbo jet engine at the back.

IAF are likely using Spice glide bombs or even the Spice 250 ER which is a glide bomb with a turbo jet engine with range in excess of 150km.

Other users include Singapore, South Korea, Columbia, etc. And soon Euro countries like Germany.

It is relatively cheap compared to missiles as the system is just an enhanced add-on to current bombs users have.

Spice is so precise that an adjacent building will be left intact albeit with some damage.

Per PAC report on LCS, original cost was RM9.128b but only RM6.006b incurred. Add RM2.098b to complete 5 means RM5.22b required to complete 5. Average cost per unit RM2.245B.

Timeline: Complete design by Aug 2024.
LCS 1: Launch May 2024, Delivery Aug 2026 (current construction status: 60.74%)
LCS 2: Launch May 2025, Delivery Apr 2027 (current construction status: 48.09%)
LCS 3: Launch Jan 2026, Delivery Dec 2027 (current construction status: 43.75%)
LCS 4: Launch Sep 2026, Delivery Aug 2028 (current construction status: 36.49%)
LCS 5: Launch May 2027, Delivery Apr 2029 (current construction status: 22%)
LCS 6 construction status 0%. Equipment to be used for other LCS. Hence LCS 6 buy was dropped.

^ have they even sorted out issues from the first ship? Otherwise fixes will need to be retrofitted to all 5 which may incur more costs and delays.

An Australian man was arrested for making the bomb claim.

Whilst more than a 1000 troops were in the US for exercise forging sabre 2023, close to 5000 troops were simultaneously in Australia for exercise wallaby 2023.

Key point amomgts others: Sgs SAF competence in logistics.
