IF the news is true Indonesia is still in the KF-21 project. It will be a trilateral cooperation with Indonesia share a minority. Anyway there are no official statement from either South Korea or from Indonesia.

I am not expecting the Indo MOD to say anything embarrasing on what is an open secret.

Even trilateral cooperation is a big "if". Not logical if one party isnt paying.

The last sentence says it all - the other countries or UAE can afford it.

The Koreans have finally.decided to throw the book at Indonesian drama.

Eagle eyed observer/s have noted that RSAFs H255M helicopters are equipped with elbits all-in-small anti missile system and EW suite.

The same system should be on RSAFs chinooks and Apache Longbows as these helicopters are seen with similar alterations.

This is not surprising as Sgs SAF is designed for protracted high intensity warfare i.e. over power/defeat and/or out last attackers.

This concept flows to Sgs massive financial reserves - to maintain the conduct of war and recovery thereafter.

You are not going to commit to war or defence when your pockets are near empty or you need to beg for money. See how much money has been pumped into Ukraine.

Rare insight or admission of the gap between US made 5th gen aircraft versus a supposedly stealthy 4.5+ gen or even 5th Gen Chinese jet.

And this is a close encounter..WVR aka in your face.

Successful first flight of domestically produced fighter KF-21 prototype 6

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong A-ran and Park Soo-yoon = The Defense Acquisition Program Administration said on the 18th that the report that the government may join hands with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to complete the development of the domestically produced supersonic fighter KF-21 is not true.

Choi Kyeong-ho, spokesman for the DAPA, responded to a related question at the Ministry of Defense's regular briefing on the same day, saying, "After checking with all relevant agencies and departments, the information is unfounded."

An online media outlet recently reported, citing foreign media, that the UAE could replace Indonesia's unpaid KF-21 contribution.

Other media also reported on the 14th that the Tawazun Economic Committee, which is in charge of the UAE's defense industry acquisition, recently sent a letter to the President's Office expressing its intention to cooperate with the KF-21.

In response to this, an official from the Presidential Office said, "The report that the UAE directly mentioned cooperation with the Korean fighter KF-21 is not true," and added, "Considering that matters related to defense industry cooperation with other countries may affect diplomatic relations, we request that you refrain from reporting." "he said.

Previously, President Yoon Seok-yeol held a summit meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 8th (local time) and agreed to work closely together to successfully complete the next-generation fighter joint development project.

Republic of Singapore Air Force Trials New Eight-wheeled Unmanned Ground Vehicle

In a significant step toward enhancing airbase security operations, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has initiated trials of an advanced unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). The RSAF unveiled the eight-wheeled UGV at a public event commemorating its 55th anniversary, hosted at the Paya Lebar Air Base from September 9 to 10. The UGV’s public display is a vital component of an exhibition highlighting the RSAF’s future capabilities. During an exclusive media preview of the exhibition, RSAF representatives confirmed that the UGV is currently undergoing trials at an undisclosed airbase.

While specifics such as the number of units being evaluated and the trial’s expected conclusion date were not disclosed, the RSAF’s proactive approach to adopting cutting-edge technology signals its commitment to strengthening security measures. The RSAF remained tight-lipped regarding detailed technical specifications of the UGV. Still, experts and observers have noted its striking resemblance to the Jaeger 8 multirole UGV, a product of Singapore’s defense prime, ST Engineering. The Jaeger series, developed by the Kinetics Advanced Robotics division of ST Kinetics, commenced in late 2015 and gained public attention when the Jaeger 8 was first unveiled at the 2016 Singapore Airshow.

The Jaeger 8 boasts a 2.8-meter length, a weight of approximately 1,000 kg, and an impressive payload capacity of up to 750 kg. With a top speed of 16 km/h, the UGV can be equipped with a remote-controlled weapon station armed with a 7.62 mm machine gun, enhancing its potential for security applications. The vehicle’s foundation is rooted in a commercial all-terrain platform with steering, though the supplier remains undisclosed. The Jaeger 8 is powered by lithium-ion batteries, offering a four-hour operational window that can extend to 24 hours through charging from an onboard electric generator.

This electric drive system ensures quiet operation and a maximum speed of 16 km/h, even when fully loaded. The Jaeger UGV operates in two distinct modes: remote control and semi-autonomous navigation. Equipped with an obstacle detection system utilizing a front-mounted laser and GPS unit, it has the potential to incorporate a “follow-me” mode in future developments. Controlled by an intuitive and user-friendly operator control unit with a range of approximately 1 km, the Jaeger UGV exemplifies the RSAF’s commitment to innovation and its readiness to embrace cutting-edge technology to bolster airbase security.

Available open info indicates that the army version is already in operation. These join other UGVs in service with the SAF where it relies on a network centric battlefield management approach:

SAF has also begun operationalizing new Bronco 3 IFVs to replace Bronco 1. They are better armoured and powered and can carry more equipment. They can also swim.

If the debacle over the missing f35 (now found) revealed anything, it was the effectiveness of its stealthy design. Even US radars had difficulty locating it let alone the sensors of adversaries

The F35 has the RCS of a golfball. It is only beaten by the F22 with a rcs of a marble.

QUOTE
The fighter’s stealthy skin is so effective that radar can’t locate them, said Gertler, “which is why they often fly with a small device called a Lunenberg lens attached to increase the radar signature.”

That is a Russian made Kilo submarine. Vietnam and Myanmar are the operators of Kilo submarines in SE Asia.

nothing to do with stealth
normal aircraft have been going missing regularly long after the invention of radar and discovered only years later
