With the price of P35 nowadays are pretty cheap, RM300-400 and u'll get a good one, so its sometimes worth it to give up the older mobo for 45nm support. (assuming ur not talking about high end ones like DQ6).

Issue with changing mobo tho is when ur OS is OEM (Original)... u may have to get another one for the new board.. tongue.gif

Below the RM700 mark would be great for the E8400. At least, that is around the RSP released by Intel last time. How much is the E8200 now? Wondering any chance its going down below the RM600 mark soon tongue.gif

Hi Guys,
I am new here.
I just got my Q9300. But the temp is the one worry me.

Clock Speed: 3225MHz
Vcore: 1.2V (After Vdrop and Vdroop laugh.gif)

Mind to teach me what software can detect the processor VID?
RMClock cannot be opened in Vista 64bits.

Please help. Thanks notworthy.gif

for my case,
realtemp 2.5 VID shows exactly the same as core voltage shown by cpu-z which is 1.2v but coretemp's VID shows a lower value @ 1.0815...so i'm guessing coretemp is corrent while realtemp is not...
