well, IMHO it's hard to say which is the best for gaming. as akachester said, depends on your usage. why get so high end proc for? unless you have the money, otherwise a midrange one will do, coz can oc to match the high end proc. even with the high end and mirange, you wont even notice the difference unless in benchmarks. coz just few hundred megahertz diff only.

can oc using software provided by mobo, but i think it won't be as good as playing with the settings inside bios. it's wise not to oc if you don't know how to do it. can end up damaging your hardware.

ooo ok lol... hmmmm when i buy my gaming pc will google it.. lol.. but i think i wont oc it coz if oc for new game no difference right.. just need good gc...

maybe one day you should try to go inside the bios, explore what is inside. know what you can and should do, and what you cannot or should not do.

spideysam going offtopic in every thread.
for intel, oc is easy if u know the basic: fsb x multiplier = total clock
eg: 200 x 9 = 1800MHz = 1.8GHz
increasing either fsb or multiplier value will give u a higher total clock.
